It is, sniper mains shred every match I play in that have maps with no flank route. And if you manage to get close, they do the jbird. Sniper's skill ceiling is high, but once you reach the top, it's very exploitable.

@@SkashiVA The point of this video isn't that you can just "do the jbird" up close. Half of these shots are wild flicks with probably a 5% hit rate, with the more controlled ones still being well below 20-30% for a good sniper. You're absolutely correct that maps without good flanks and horribly designed sightlines are the issue; these shots - if you have any semblance of decent movement - are not.

Why doesn't any other class get skillshots like this? I don't think there's any scenario where a Sniper, by luck or not, should be allowed to delete a Scout at point blank range, aka the range where he's supposed to be vulnerable. Reward the Scout for pulling off a good flank? Nah, he gets one-shot and sometimes he can't do anything about it.

in what world were those scouts going in a straight line. Going straight for 2 nanoseconds is not comparable to jose.gonzales going across a bridge without ever touching the A or D keys. This is a class based game where most characters are short to medium range effective. Sniper apparently covers all of that and has a fast pace as well. Try taking out the entire enemy team as a soldier or scout without a medic or some kind of additional dmg support. Youre gonna get overwhelmed by other good players. What can a high skilled other class main do to a high skill sniper main? Nothing, get quickscoped. Snipers starting dmg should be 100 and he should scope in somewhat slower. You shouldnt be able to kill a scout in 1 quick shot that made the effort to get past your entire team to counter you. A spy cant do that, a medic cant do that, they have to rely on getting melee hits or shooting you down in more than 1 shot. The pace that sniper can take out enemies in 1 shot without almost any risk or punishment is what makes him broken. Hes too fast and doesnt need to even charge the rifle most of the time. Theres nothing wrong with one shotting someone as long as you basically don't outrace every goddamn class in it without risk. Makes also a lot of maps fucking unplayable. He just is broken, he's not a support class and flick shots aren't the main problem.
