What up bro great video today, she's a monster, just wanted to know if you upgraded any of your diff cups or dogbones and if you did if you wouldn't mind sharing what you r using. I know vitivon has some I just don't know it they will work with the overkill driveshafts I have from M2C. Thanks in advance bro. Cheers

Hey all, just wanted to say. In no way did I want to talk crap on the esc. It is an amazing piece of technology. My problem was the tp motor. The esc ran my castle 800 perfectly. It was just a bad motor from tp. Everyone needs to try the madmax. It is AMAZING!!!!!
@rafamamba17 күн бұрын
Due to the extreme continuous amperage capacity, it is recommended motors of at least 200A (and below 500A) As for your TP motor, who sold it? If seller does not respond, file a claim on the payment or purchase. Then he will probably answer you
@jordankeith67457 күн бұрын
@@rafamamba1 tppowerusa. I’m emailing back and forth now. Worst cast if they refuse to do anything, I want to try one of those 222 v2 motors. Something beastly. The mad max will handle anything you throw at it. Hahaha!
@rafamamba17 күн бұрын
The shop you mentioned is serious. So talk to them. Yes, MadMax20's electronics is incredibly strong and modern. It took almost a year of testing and adjustments with the most varied motors (from Leopard and Hobbywing, through Castle 2028, TP POWER to the huge SSS motors 123mm, 135mm and 154mm length).
@KiloWattRC6 күн бұрын
Definitely a dope esc man, I am ready to push this esc to the limits. Mad Max did a good job, take off is butter smooth, throttle is crazy abusive when demanded, and the sensor turbo boost rpm ramp is insane.
@rafamamba15 күн бұрын
Wow. I'm glad you're enjoying it. As a buyer told me, MadMax20 has opened up new possibilities, previously limited by the more popular HV ESCs . However, I will forward your feedback to the MAD team.

I bought some foams from yu a while back for my xrt. I just hit 109 mph and now I gotta do suspension work to keep it stable. Thank God the road was four lanes across lol. This hobby is too much fun. I'm old so looking for any pointers from you and anyone that wants to give me advice. Trying to get to killiwats speed. I'm using a max5 ESC and an 800kv hobbywing motor. Of course it's over geared with a 50 tooth as a pinion and a 18 as a spur. Haven't maxed it out yet because at 100 if I get close to pinning trigger it'll pull the front end up. Found that out on last run when I almost wrecked.
@KiloWattRC9 күн бұрын
man if you hitting 109 in a XRT you are definitely doing something right, just my honest opinion. If the esc isn't cutting power that is amazing, if it is I would go to Madmax 20 12s esc trust me. Rmamba sells it on ebay.
@christinachristina92968 күн бұрын
@@KiloWattRC no it hasn't cut out on me. I hit 100 and pulled trigger rest of way and that's where the extra 9mph came in before it almost backflipped. I'ma order the max20 and try again. Need to make a front spoiler or airdam or something. Thanks for the ESC idea.

Ive heard the more solder in the cup the mote resistance is creates kilo?? That true? I just make sure the qs8 has a fillet around the wire in the cup and thats it. I also solder for a living in aerospace world.
@KiloWattRC10 күн бұрын
thats a interesting one, because more solder intensives the more more paths of the cup the current can travel, as long as the more paths isn't a longer path for current to travel giving the amount of time it takes current to travel to ground the resistance shouldn't increase. The mega ohms of the wiring with the solder at top of cup to the opposite end of cup is 00.00.

@KiloWattRC12 күн бұрын
Well you know I like the max4, but I really like the turbo boost settings on this esc, also it doesn't have the start up lagg the max4 has at times. But all and all I don't have a favorite I just like powerful esc's and this one is stealing the show for me. Thanks for watching man
@rafamamba111 күн бұрын
Regarding the superiority of MadMax20 (20kW) over Max4 (15kW), it will become more and more evident when users run motors stronger than Hobbywing 56118, such as TP5870, SSS 56123, 56135, etc. Hobbywing makes motors for their ESCs (and vice versa). So, theoretically speaking, Max4 might be enough for 56113 800KV or 70125 to deliver its full power. But it will not be enough to power stronger motors. For this, a more powerful ESC is necessary. MAD COMPONENTS produces the most modern ESCs today (up to 510V) and used its experience to build the MadMax series.

So now that I have seen somebody run it hard, especially in the heat, I am ready to order one. FYI, I’ve been running my K8 on the Max4 with the 800kv hobbywing geared 30/39, and with a set of the belted Proline Badlands on it, it will drift, smoke the tires, and from a dig, it will leave a set of black stripes in the asphalt. I can’t wait to see how much more I can push it with that new ESC. P.S. I’ve been watching my KZbin feed all week waiting for this video to come out. Thanks man, I appreciate you!!!👍👍👍💪💪💪
