It looks really nice. I read that it weighs the same as the anthem, even though at first look it seems a bit smaller in size, or is it? Is it actually shorter or slightly smaller? I will have to try and test drive one in the near future. Thanks for a great review. 🤘

Haha yea. It is definitely advertised more as an urban commuter, so all was to be expected. I just had no idea the mountain would take such a large toll on the battery haha. Still a perfect motorcycle to run around locally and run errands as I had planned and save $$$ on gas!

How about 30 mile round trip, no hills, 50 mph roads?
@DnSAdventuresАй бұрын
I would think so. On flat roads you could just leave it in eco mode and still hit 50-55mph. Not something I have tested myself though, so don't take my word for it. - Shane

So I'm mostly grabbing footage of the bike rather than signing up for that portion of the affiliate program where folks can test. As you know we live out in the middle of nowhere with very few people to come check it out haha. I think that'll mostly be reserved for folks that live in bigger towns/cities where there is more interest. Hope things are going well sir!

Looks sweet! This is on my short list at the moment. I can take it in my Cybertruck and charge it up easily from either the 120/240v outlets in the bed. I have the optional 240 and 120 volt pigtail kit from tesla. So I can use my Tesla mobile charger with it's J1772 adapter and plug that into Rivid's adapter to complete the setup. Then just plug into the Cybertrucks bed outlets to charge it up quickly. I already have one of the NIU 100P Electric Scooters that I keep in the the truck. That's for any last mile driving around. 😁

@DnSAdventures I love the Cybertruck! However the $1,280/Month payment stings! 💸 I recently sold my YZF-600R. Looking HARD at the new Suzuki DRZ-4SM Supermoto to replace it. But also looking at an electric motorcycle for close range riding to cut down on maintenance. I despise maintenance! The less there is, the better!

The problem with the center mower is it hits the throttle arm when all the up and the center blade comes loose, if the front of the mower hits anything it takes the front bracket that pulls it up and down off. When driving over it to install or take off use the bucket to the other side of it pull the front of the tracker up and drive forward until the wheels are over the two metal parts on the mower then lower the wheels onto the Mower and drive off is the fast and best way I have found to install it and take it off. Wish I had got the back finish mower due to the center blade of the mower always getting looser as I mow with it and I could use both at the same time to make up for where it doesn't cut when loose.

Hi, I would suggest using 40 pounds of air connected to the tank flush and open the black water valve when doing this just to get the air out of the lines as there is a check valve that can crack and leak water if you do not do this when winterizing. Best Regards

I know this is an older video but did you find that your electric fence worked? I'm wondering because I have poultry fencing like this around my chicken run but it doesn't seem to deter the Chipmunks at all. They just come right in and eat the chicken's breakfast. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if they're just too fast for it to be effective.

It really only seems to keep bigger things out. Smaller critters seem to be smart enough to jump right on through the holes, not being grounded, so they don't get shocked. Squirrels went right on through this year along with bunnies. We ended up putting chicken wire around our raised beds to keep the bunnies out...not sure what to do with the squirrels yet...- Shane

It was around 1967 (I was maybe13 years old) and my family was spending a Sunday afternoon at the falls which we had done many times before. I haven't been there in so long but from this video it appears that the river/falls is now fenced off .. back then we could walk the river, swim the first pool and fish the uppers. Well, my dad (WWII infantry Battle of the Bulge) an I were just above the last pool. When all of a sudden, without hesitation, my dad started running down the river, jump from rock to rock, full speed.. I ran after him. The next thing is see is the souls of his shoes diving into the deep pool. I finally caught up but he was gone; seamed like he was under water for ever. As he surfaced, so did another man and they both had a small child their hands. They got the boy to shore.. If my memory serves me, his father was standing on the large rock/boulder on the opposite side of the walking path. My dad yelled "why didn't you jump in"!! The man said "I can't swim". My dead yelled back at him in the loudest voice I have ever heard him yell. "YOU JUMP IN ANYWAYS"!!! That was the day my dad saved a young boys life!

Belcher Mountain Rd is fun but a handful on a big Adv bike especially if you don't have a dirt bias tire. There are many more dirt roads up that way as well, sadly Va. is starting to pave them, used to be gravel up past that fork in the road at the top on right side for a few more miles.

To complete the service on the Reflection 295RL pin box, I completed it this way by myself. Removed the tailgate and back the truck in straight, and raised the trailer up to take the tension off the pin box to hitch. Note where the fifth wheel jack height is for future reference. Leave the pin box secured to the fifth wheel hitch. I placed my floor jack on the bed of the truck, on plywood at a 45 degree angle, as not to risk following off the truck. I shorten the floor jack handle, to fit under the fifth wheel. Adding a 6" block to my floor jack to reach the flat spot on the pin box. With the floor jack and FWH being supported all bolts were removed and lowered the pin box down till hanging from the FWH - raised up the trailer to create clearance. Removed the cotter pin and nut ( but note their position ). Removed the top portion of the pin box to clean (a little dirty) the spindle and bearing then regrease. All looked well - re-assembled into the original position as more torque could not be used on the bearing. Re-alignment by lowering the trailer to starting position and using the F jack to support and lift the pin box slowly as it lines (fits) back into the trailer mounts. I used large screw drivers to pry the pin box straight to achieve alignment. Started the 4 bolts on the left side and the other side did not line up - pulled the truck a head 1/2 inch or less, bingo all lined up. I complete this in 1 1/2 hour not including tailgate removal and clean up. My truck was turned to the left when back up - no choice in that, my thinking a lined up truck would help eliminate my misaligned bolts on the right side. As you raise and lower the fifth wheel I noticed it travels in a bit of an arc, but it does line up when returning to original position. There is no seal over the bearing to keep water out, so i used an Amsoil water resistant grease, the same product for my boat trailer axle. All the bolt nuts are welded in place which really speeds up the job. While lowering the FW the floor jack handle dug in to trailer a bit before I noticed, leaving a stretch mark. Slow & small movements at a time. I had to use the original castle nut hole to spindle (cotter pin) - as that is where the bearing tighten up, an more torque way to tight, any less to loose.(18" pipe wrench). Next time I will replace the bearing and race. For working clearance, FW jacks may need blocks under to help with lift.

I finally found this video. It fills in some gaps for my own experience. After some trial and error, I got mine off the trailer. I got the castle nut off and removed the bearings. However, I'm still seized in the 90 degree position. Seeing yours taken apart helps me understand where to spray the wd 40 penetrating oil. Right now it is sitting overnight with wd40 filling the bowl where the bearings were. They haven't started seeping throuh and leaking yet. My castle nut was not torqued down to 50 ft lb, I'm pretty sure. For the record, mine sat 5 years in the same position. I haven't seen anyone mention this but it seems one could remove the six frontmost bracket bolts and let it swivel down to expose the castle nut under normal circumstances. Not sure if it would reach full extension, or if the pin box would come into contact with the bracket preventing enough access. It seems more likely, I'm sure, if the pin box has more space above it.
@robertcolpitts45347 ай бұрын
With some half-ton trucks, you might could tow it, but can you stop it in a pinch? The 10-ply tires help a lot, but can you stop the trailer? Better off with a 2500HD or heavier.
