Great example, we have a 40 foot we need to move forward. We have a few jacks from HF that we’ve used to level ours. We also have a much bigger tractor so there is hope of saving us some money too! Thanks for sharing❤❤❤❤❤

Great job! You really have smart ways to do things - making something really hard look really easy.

Thanks sir! This was unlike most of the projects we tackle, this one actually went smoothly and easier than expected. :) - Shane

If you had jacked from the front or back instead of the sides, the forklift cutouts are great for a farm jack. Less or no digging involved

Great use of leverage to move the container. That farm jack is awesome. (But dude, chainsaw chaps!)

Thanks and haha, you are probably right with the chaps. Was such a quick job the thought didn't cross my mind. - Shane

i only put chaps on if i'm going to cut firewood for a couple hours , but i guess you can never be too safe. doubt you'd see kickback from that lumber unless there was nails in it or something.@@DnSAdventures

Wouldn’t it had Ben much easier to lay gravel and blocks on the other side of foundation?
@DnSAdventures Жыл бұрын
I was hoping to avoid blocks altogether because it was easier just to level out the gravel itself with the tractor. However, as the material needs continued to stack up on the lowest side, I decided to use blocks to hopefully save material. After I installed the blocks however, the installers wanted 3 feet of level ground on either side of the carport in order to use their ladders and install the carport. So if I were to do it all over again, I probably would have just ordered another truck load of crush and run gravel to save all the time it spent to level out the blocks and fill them with concrete. Always a learning experience when trying out new projects though! Having the blocks on both sides would probably look the best though. - Shane

I wonder if my 50hp would move a 40’er
@kbach65248 ай бұрын
100hp, didn’t budge when I tried to lift it, haven’t tried this method Neighbors backhoe can drag my 40hc around pretty easily , I just laid a single oilfield drill pipe under it to keep it slightly off the sand but if you have a big enough machine you can move anything
