When I see that many estate agents I reference that like charity shops in UK High streets. Whole resort looks a little faded . Golf courses looking great but infrastructure not great. That said I love Murcia as a region.

this is my biggest concern about moving to Spain. Do you not worry about this happening to your property if you go away for a week or two holiday. I know you say call the police, but if your away you are relying on your neighbors to do this for you?

Very informative video Shaun BUT I feel too much focus is given by people on closed golf courses. This is not a negative, fair from this in my opinion. The video shows the resort in the wrong light in my opinion. Yes the golf course has been sold (Peraleja) along with the club house. You would have seen the work they have started on the practice green and driving range. Do people buy on resorts for the golf in 2024. They surly buy for the security which there is, the location and fantastic properties which in my opinion ticks all the boxes. With a fully operational golf course , club house and restaurant the prices are going to be a lot higher so therefore there are great opportunities to grab a bargain in my opinion. Keep up the good work but I feel you have to also focus on the resorts good points also

I'm wondering how busy the summer months are at Ronda. Is it like a hotel with children and all that comes to it? I read that HDA is like a ghost town in the winter months and that the resort is deteriorating. Does that apply for Ronda also? My wife and I are planning to move to Spain on such a resort and plan to visit some resorts in November to see for ourselves but extra info is always nice to have.

It’s not that much of a minefield it’s just different to the uk. In Murcia region the property purchase tax is 8% where you are filming (La Torre Golf Resort) In Murcia with your solicitors fees budget 10-12% in total. The community fees say in La Torre cover things like community ground maintenance, the amazing swimming pools, cutting your own hedges and grass whatever your property type, basic buildings insurance (in apartments anyway) 50 meg internet, TV channels etc etc. You pay very little council tax so if you compare it to the uk the community fees and council tax add up to similar in the uk. La Torre for instance is just immaculate. I found the solicitors as if not more professional than the uk. I find the whole system in Spain more bureaucratic than in the uk but it’s about surrounding yourself with the right professional people. For what it’s worth the running cost having an apartment in Spain are much lower than premium static caravan parks in the uk. Plus you have an appreciating asset. I can’t recommend it enough.

25°😮time to get in....the sea has only 18° here where I live (Baltic Sea. North Germany) no way am I going to try that out, although we have temperaturs of around 30° at the moment. A lot of holidaymakers are already here, and they are all in the sea🥶
