Check that OSB Sawdust is ok for composting. I think it may have glue that would stop it rotting down. Just thought, but still enjoying your journey.

I love watching your progress and admire what you are doing. Can I ask what the long term plans are on the plot? And how do you satisfy Brexit rules in terms of your stay? Finally, are you learning Portuguese? Sorry if too many questions just very intrigued and I think many people could learn from your efforts.

The land is urban/buildable with a house project previously approved (done by the previous owner which we really like) so we are hoping to eventually build that and move here permanently. Before we do so, we want to start a permaculture garden that will hopefully be providing more than enough food for our family when the time comes. But before we start the garden, we are making the place "liveable" as a bit of a glamping site where we can base up for a few months of the year. It's far from luxury, as we live in a campervan / caravan but it's definitely OK for a few months of the year! Brexit wise we both have Polish passports which helps us massively. And yes - we are learning Portuguese and really the best way to do so is being here and trying to communicate in Portuguese as much as possible. We avoid speaking to locals in English and that helps a lot / opens a lot of doors to learning on the go! First thing I did when I started on my barn conversionis buy an L200 pick up. It's now 24 years old and starts and runs like new. Keep up the vids despite the dumbo florian!!!
