... Very classy and stylish ... Always loved the DeSoto grill's ... Kind of like a bull dogs under bite, or just a full set of teeth growling at you ... 😁 ... 😬 ...

The design of the 65 galaxy i never could get real excited about. But my dads seemed to have a real low need for repairs. It got you there.

I like the minimal badging on the tip of the front fender. If you know Buicks though the four fake "port holes" give it away.

I graduated from high school in ‘67, in Northern California so I remember these cars well. This Thunderbird is likely the most beautiful T-bird I have ever seen. This was posted seven years ago. Where is it today? (April, 2024).

Hmmm, I've never seen one of these without the quintessential vinyl top 😮 Does that mean it was an option?

I’ll take this any day over any 66 Cadillac. 65-66 Caddies were too blocky. Sure wish they said what engine it had.

And here I thought the '82 Cougar 4drs was rare, but seeing the '77? Damn! And it looks so beautiful too! Whoever restored this did a fantastic job.
no passenger side door rear view mirror - these mirrors were still optional at the time this car was built

The Fleetwood 75 series Formal Sedan to me is a great looking car,the 71 and 72 were just a beautiful car.The nice feature till 77 was the front and rear separate heater ac systems that shared the same A-6 compressor. They had the roof mounted ceiling vents and separate Climate control for the rear section with a power glass rear partition, and a separate radio controls that overruled the drivers .The last year for the true GM Cadillac produced Fleetwood 75 Formal Sedan Limosine was 1984.

Even with wind dwn windows it's still a treasure. You can solve that inconveinience by going to salvage yord and getting power motors from another olds . Some catalogs have universal replacements that'll work.

I will never forget this car that was featured early on the 1956 movie Back from Eternity made by RKO Radio Pictures that featured Robert Ryan, Anita Eckberg, Gene Barry and in a cameo also early in the movie that was her mkvie debut Barbara Eden as photojournalist. I saw that movie on the Late Show on CBS TV ch.2 New York back in the 1960s. 😊

Long, low and sensuously sleek. More pronounced because of the skirts and the wonderful lower chrome trim. These Pontiacs, without thier skirts on, well " it's just not proper" lol

These great cars are timeless, but in the sixties, there were no catalytic converters. Would it be a problem with todays MVA's rules and regulations ? 😮

I may be thinking too far ahead, but what if Oldsmobile created a CONVERTIBLE ! If they were leak - proof, they would probably raise many eyebrows !!
