Looking back at this colin has a point. The warrior organization didn't really believe he could lead this team to multiple championship. As a result. He got KD, won 2 rings and curry went to a finals with KD hurt and lost to the raptors.

Doncic is an incredible talent, with the perfect height(for PG is ideal),a leader and more importantly a clutch player. He took the clutch ability from his European idol ,player of Olympiacos BC Vassilis Spanoulis who was the best player of his generation in Europe. I believe Luka Doncic with all of these attributes in the next 10 years he will take a lot of championship and MVPs ,of course if he will be healthy and with the right support from his team All of you that underestimated him,you will regret it with the hard way...

Hey I mean Steve Smith was 100% wrong about that #1 draft pick, but he changed his mind. I'm not saying he is some saint but at least his analysis changed when he saw the product put on the court.

It is insane to me how much more team building knowledge Bill has than a fucking retired NBA player.

Greg Oden is not necessarily his fault, obviously he was wrong about KD, but Oden not working out was basically a freak accident.

Bill simmons has very gay and feminine energy. I love gay folks so that’s fine with me. Just unusual for sports broadcasting. He’s also very arrogant.

I think what happened, because he played very good in high school, exceptionally good, so I think maybe he just matured at a very young age and so when he was playing other kids he was relatively good because of the physical advantage. But that means he also peaked physically relatively early and so when he reached the NBA he's now playing fully physically mature adults and then that's when his lack of skill at that level became apparent. He was good against kids because he was like an adult when he was in high school haha. Makes sense yeah?

This was a blatant tank. They knew they had a good chance of getting LeBron the following year and could tank for Wiggins and use him as a trade piece for another star. David Griffin was lowkey about it, but it’s obvious in hindsight

Easily the worst #1 overall pick in NBA history. Anthony Bennett should've gone late second round at best, he just wasn't an NBA player, let alone a high draft pick.

Oladipo was the only one in the top 10 to be a "star". I just looked up Alex Len. 11 years and he's still in the league somehow. Averaging 2 pts and 2 rebounds a game the last 2 seasons.

You know what’s really funny to think about is how different lebron on the Cavs the second time woulda been had they not messed up this pick. Let’s say they grab Oladipo or Porter. Now it’s another STARTER on the team for when lebron comes back, a starter with serious upside too. Remember they traded the 1st pick to minny for Love and threw Bennett in just as salary. If they have a young budding star (as seen at the time) in Vic, then they might be able to get more or send less to Minny for Love. That coulda given them the depth to win in 2015 even with the injuries. That coulda given them a punchers chance in 2017. Maybe Kyrie doesnt give up and leave in 2018. It’s just interesting to think about how one blunder genuinely coulda costed this team a dynasty.

That draft was one of the worst drafts because there was no consensus number 1 pick. The best player turned out to be Giannis but nobody saw that coming.

Just a bad draft, only to be topped by this 2024 draft. There may not be one all star in the whole draft. Most will be lucky to be in the league 5 years.
