Classic Squad, when it was at its prime and rewarded good shooters and engcouraged an array of tactics deployed. Great footage. And that comment "dude where you goin with the logi?!" And "I hope that theres still supplies in it..." 😂 old school Squad represent!

Most people don't understand the role of sniping; it's psychological supression. Where an lmg will keep you physically supressed, a sniper will put the fear of God into every soldier, knowing they could be killed instantly at any time by an enemy they cannot see. IRL it's extremely effective much in the same way that Western enemies fear drone strikes. In a game like squad the best you can do is light supression via accurate fire.

Go on the wiki and then look up tutorials, that should make it better. Basic gist is, join a preexisting squad(do NOT Make your own) ask your squad leader where to spawn, spawn there, then do whatever your squad leader says. Sounds like a bore but the squad leader won’t give you much boring stuff to do, it’s like “spawn here, walk 5 mins to here, fireteam A shoot these guys fireteam B get closer and shoot these guys”. Give it a shot and decide on whether or not you like it only after you have about 10 hours of gameplay.
