I like how you test out the clip. Most reviews don't do that. I have several of these pens, with clips both in tidi and normal titanium, and it always felt like that the clip was too stiff. If I try using it on pen loops of leather notebook covers, the leather of the loop would just collapse (moosh itself) because the clip won't clip on.

I hope you don't take this as an insult, but as an honest critique, and maybe its just me, but I feel you may have your mic to close to your mouth, as the sounds of your lips and tongue, cut through me like a knife and made this almost unwatchable.

@stephenmiles1253 If you don't mind me asking, how are you listening? In the car, headphones, on a tv? Thank you for the feedback, this is the audio equivalent of being at work all day with a booger on your shirt and not one MF'r says anything about it and you don't see it until you get home and catch yourself in the bathroom mirror lol. I have been working to dial in the audio and it has been a challenge so far to say the least. If the mic is too far away then my voice seems faint and distant, hard to hear. If the mic is too close then it sounds like I am eating the mic like a Costco hotdog and you can hear every horrific sound that a human being is capable of mustering while speaking. Add in the fact that my hearing is not 100% either (I do play back and try to check the sound) and it makes it extra fun. Thank you for pointing this out, I will continue to work on this. It has to be doable, I hear other peoples audio and it sounds fine and I aim to improve with every video until I get it right.

@@DaleWesley No sir, the backpacker albeit maybe not in its current exact configuration and steel offering has been a staple of CRK since the 1980's. Very simply internet search will prove me right, go to gpk knives for starters. Also, I'd have to go back and scour the forums both blade forums and knife forums to find the threads and post there in about it snapping. So yes, maybe not the one in magna cut but other steel variations have snapped. Moreover, its not the steel its the fact that the tang is highly skeletonized to reduce weight, ergo the name back packer, as back packers watch ounces. @DiabolicalSpender great username 🏆 So I have both versions, same emitter in them (519a). I will turn them both on in the highest mode and hold one in each hand and let you know which gets hotter faster. @EDChero
@EDChero 4 ай бұрын
@DiabolicalSpender I turned both lights on at the same time and held on up near the head of the flashlight. After about 1 minutes both were getting quite warm but the titanium one was warmer. At about 1 minute 15 seconds in, the Ti light was essentially too hot to hold up there at the head, the aluminum was still not as bad. About 15 seconds later the aluminum light too was too hot to hold there. I tried it again this morning and gave the Ti light a slight head start because I had to cycle through the modes a couple times on the titanium light to find high. Even with this slight advantage in timing, the Ti light did heat up faster to the point of being painful to hold onto before the aluminum light.
