My best friend and I met David at his performance at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Little Johnny Jones. Met him before his mattine show. Met his leading lady the evening before after the show. He was so kind and sweet to a disabled kid that afrernoon. When I heard he'd passed I cried. Then I saw him near LA with Danny Bonaduce. Then in Las Vegas in the late 90s. I loved him as a.teen. But, most girls did of course. I miss him so much.

Love Cassidy but he looks like he just came from work, not performing a rock concert. Better stylist, cooler guitar, etc. Love the music and that voice.

People remember him as one of the actors/singers that defined what a "teen idol" is.... but watching him here, you see just how natural he was as a performer. The stage was where he truly was in his element, and was probably also the place he was happiest.

Waching this 07/07/2024 and thinking how much of a loss to the music world David Cassidy is. Great musician and singer. Looked so youthful throughout his life, really so sad that the drink overtook everything else.

I still can't believe that he's gone. I saw him at the Birchmere in Alexandria, Virginia, and I think it was similar to this. RIP. I hope you have reconciled with your father, and you're free from your demons.

This is the very first concert that I have seen David Cassidy perform. Im not sure as to what year this concert was, but he did a very good job in entertaining the crowd. It saddens me knowing as to how he eneded up when he passed away in 2017. Thanks for the memories......R.I.P

I grew up watching the Partridge Family( I loved that show) and my favorite part of the show was when they would sing in concerts and I loved all the songs they sang. Watching and hearing these songs brings back so many memories for me. I loved both David and Shaun, they were both teen idols. Miss you David, may you rest in peace. Thank you for so many great memories.

Finally, , the truth came out about I Write The Songs!!! I had every album David made, he was my first love way back in the 70's.I write the songs was on one them,no disrespect to Barry Manilow, but his version just is not as rich, or meaningful. I was a member of David s fan club, bought the monthly teen mag, his posters wallpapered my bedroom walls, and backed my school books. His music and beautiful smile got me through some troubling and dark teenage years. When I see his interviews and concerts, I am transformed, I'm not a lonely woman of 64 , living alone, i am that young carefree girl who totally adored and loved one of the best singers ever,- David Cassidy.I know he had his own demons, but I hope he also had lots of love in his life too.Born to entertain, beautiful voice, a face I will always melt at when I see, where ever you are David, I wish you peace.Crying while I write this, such a sad loss. Xxx

Looking back at our childhood is safe. We were young, carefree (a cliché but true) and all the responsibilities and trials of being a grown up were far in the future. We may look back and see some things thru rose coloured spectacles but they're our spectacles and our memories.

I was a big fan and even had a poster hanging over my bed when I was 10 years old. Now unfortunately the nasty drug alcohol has finished him off. It is one of the worst drugs that is still trivialized. Thank you David for the wonderful years when I was a teenager. You were a great guy, a really good one... too good for the tough show industry

Thank you for sharing this marvelous concert of David's. I got to see David twice in my life. The first time wax in the early 70s when the screaming was so loud you could hardly hear hi.m and thw second timec was in the late 90s/early 2000s, when he was O.K.. i was also fortunate to see him in Blood Brothers where he gave one of my favorite performances in a play ever. This concert show David at his best and leaves a lasti g legacy of just how talented David was. Thank you so much for sharing this. I hope David gmhas found peace and realizes how much he mattered to his fans and the people who loved him.
