Costco sells these now! It has the manual but I prefer to watch videos like yours. I saw another video where if you remove the cleaning solution bucket the machine will just suck up more water not put any down. My carpet was a mess from a Labrador and it really did an amazing job. I also have a newer shark vac I love.

Just an FYI - the Oxy Multiplier tank is only used when using the handheld attachment and solution is sprayed. So it's good to use the handheld tool on tougher stains, as the sprayer on it uses the Oxy Multiplier solution.

Thank you so much for that info. The video above did not go into detail about this tool, and Shark no longer sends a manual or Quick Start Guide, so it is very frustrating. One needs to come to youtube, to learn about the machine. Thank you for unconfusing me. $300 and no manual from Shark. Not acceptable. purchased the EX201.

Thank you for this review, i was looking for someone to tackle old stains like you had. My only question I have is, about the capacity and cleaning solution usage. I too have wall to wall carpets and want to do a deep clean for all of it. How is the cleaners water usage efficiency? How many bottles do you go through, and does the dirty water tank fill up fast, causing you to repeatedly make alot trips to clean it out?

Hello Ashley, great video! I was wondering how the Shark compares to your old Hoover. You did say the Hoover was getting old and losing its effectiveness but how would the Shark compare with the Hoover Smartwash when it was brand new? I’m stuck deciding between the two. Thanks!
@theveldmanway7 ай бұрын
I really like the Shark. Even though it is brand new, it is definitely easier to maneuver than the Hoover and empty the dirty water. I am going to try to do a better job cleaning the machine after every use in hopes to keep it running like new. I had issues with my Hoover leaking both dirty water and cleaning solution. We will see how the shark works with that long term.

What I noticed is for the amount of water at dumps out in the carpet. It picks up very little. It does pick up a lot of my cat hair, even though I vacuumed before I noticed you didn’t have much water after you did your stairs you mentioned that it didn’t pick up it has good suction, but I don’t know it just doesn’t pick up the water, what do you think?
@theveldmanway6 ай бұрын
I agree with you on that. It does put down a lot more water than it picks up. That’s my only issue with this vacuum, but it still cleans my carpets better than the old bissel I had. I go over it many times with quick try to try to suck up as much water as I can.

That joy! To be fair, I think I reacted about the same way the first time I got on a cruise ship and I was in my 30s lol How did you get the uber driver on board with the subterfuge?
@theveldmanway11 ай бұрын
Oh I agree! Our first cruise was in 2019 without him and we reacted the same way. We told her as she was helping us put the luggage in the car. We told her that he thinks we are going to the airport and to just go with it. She was great! She was so excited to help us trick him. I can’t believe he didn’t question why we had so much luggage for a 2 night vacation. I know we can never get away with tricking him like that again. I’m so glad we surprised him like we did and that I have it on video. It made the cruise even more fun.

@@theveldmanway that's so awesome she played along! I can't imagine how excited he must have been..he'll remember that the rest of this life. I think my favorite reaction on the first cruise I took mine on was my oldest, 16 at the time, being absolutely blown away when we woke up in Mexico. I don't think he truly understood we were REALLY going to another place on the ship! "OMG MOM MOM LOOK!" looking out the window that morning. That's pretty impressive from an impressed by nothing teenager lol

Ended up over here literally because I accidentally clicked on your name from the comment section we've been chatting in about our cruise. Went OMGOSH she has her own channel! This is SO FUN. I wish I could have done that for my boys when they were little! Cruising didn't start for us until they were in their teens and now they're all grown up at 28 and 30 so pulling off a surprise like this would be pretty tough/risky. Excited to watch the rest! Does Kane know about this one coming up? (42 days!)
@theveldmanway11 ай бұрын
I never finished the other videos from our last cruise. I still have all the footage and Kane asked me to finish the videos and post them and vlog on this cruise. So yes, he knows. Now every time I tell him we have a surprise for him he assumes it’s a cruise. He overheard us talking about the cruise with my in-laws when we were booking it. They are coming with us. They are the ones that got us into cruising so we are excited to share this experience with them this time. I wish I would have surprised him for Christmas and made it his gift. Oh well, maybe next time! He is so exited. He is looking up a bunch of info about the countries we are going to. I am impatiently counting down the days!
@DenaInWyo11 ай бұрын
That has to be so hard for a little to understand that long wait. I have a hard enough time with it myself! I guess that would be a drawback of a surprise like that for a little..they wouldn't understand that was a once in a lifetime thing. I love his obsession with safes! I am like that sometimes on a silly thing. I am a huge nerd about the ships.
@DenaInWyo11 ай бұрын
@@theveldmanway Oh...and I really hope you do vlog our cruise! I'll totally be watching. I did a cruise report on Cruise Critic for one my sister and I did in 2016. I am so glad I did because to this day it's kind of fun to go back and read. It's on their forums and still shows up. Before KZbin vlogs got popular, the forum version of a cruise blog was a great way to learn about cruising and follow along on people's trips. I started but did not finish a few others and now I'm irritated with myself that I didn't finish them.
