You should never rev a cold engine like that. However you drive it like you should nice and gentle on the gearbox

Very tidy motor, missing the chrome rear hub spinner caps, sounds like a rear engined 505 reliance and shares the same chassis as a Leyland Panther.

Always liked the Condors and their similar cousins the 1100FEs which sadly Halifax withdrawn in 2021 all presumably cut up by PVS. They still got the condors though. If you ever re visit this bus in future. See if you could get a closer look at those lovely roller blinds. I’ve always wondered exactly how many things are printed on it and presumably the other Metro ones.

How I wish depots didnt just look at the price of vehicles but actually the vehicle it self... My depot still forces us to drive AXL400s, the transbus/adl versions, not the nicer Volvos, and apart from a few preserved pieces, they are all attrocious to drive. In comparison even the worst condition scania is bliss to drive... I would kill to drive this lovely bus.

BMAC look good on an MCW, not on this. At least it hasn't had a different engine transplant. This one sounds pourous.

I remember this bus in the chase bus services fleet. They were superb at the maintenance of the nationals.
