I watched this on another channel. Yesterday my friend had a panic attack while i was in town so she called me. Since i wasnt in the room, i couldnt do anything to immediately calm her down, she was in a very loud environment that was overestimating her and no one was helping her. As i was running back to help her, i felt so helpless until i remembered this technique. I repeated it over the phone and insistently repeated the questions until she stopped worrying about her surroundings and started responding properly. When she has panic attacks, she blanks out so all her sentences are gibberish, this method helped her calm down enough for her to be able to speak coherently and it occupied her for long enough for me to be able to reach her. When i tell you it is a life saver, i genuinely mean it, this method calmed my friend down within 2 minutes, while i wasnt in the room and was actually running back to her. ❤

STOP SUPPORTING Chefs Plate. They are horrible mean and evil to their employees. In January 2024, in the deep-freezing temperature, an employee arrived 40 minutes earlier than his shift was starting, and they were not letting him inside the premises while outside was -25 degrees. They hire foreigners from temp agencies who don’t know their rights in this country yet. That occurred on my 2nd day working as a coordinator and I let the employee inside the building. They fired me the next day due to this philanthropic action I did. There are brutal horrible managers. Their meals are disgusting 🤮 and cheap and many refrigerated items are not being stored properly leading to contamination. CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) inspects them regularly, yet I believe the contamination occurs due to how badly employees are been treated at this food manufacturer. The General Manager is having an affair with HR, and behind the owner, they scream and yell at their employees for completely non-trivial matters, assuming is their way of releasing their frustration. They also provide services to HelloFresh, Loblaws, Sobeys, Walmart etc and they go by 3-4 different business names.

Listening to this and prepping for my Psy test, but I got a chuckle out of a baby pretending a banana is a telephone. I don’t know any babies that would come to that conclusion, as they’ve never seen any phone that isn’t flat 😂

Very interesting. Think expectations are so important and was wondering how big a role a lack of communicating yours or knowing the other person's plays. Although commercial I think it can be what you make it. My grandmother always said that one should take every opportunity to celebrate in life so since having kids and it isn't possible to do a romantic evening for 2 we have a family Valentines by decorating the table, including something like a small heart chocolate and having a nice meal.

Thanks for the video! Valentines day is so commercialized that I believe it takes away from the sincerity of showing love, it is also mainly aimed at men buying things for woman which further perpetuates gender roles and stereotypes. I think in a relationship, couples should show their love for one another (through actions and words, as well as the occasional treat), every day EXCEPT valentines day 😂❤

Hi! I have a question regarding Descartes' version of dualism and how it helped in making science of psychology. Is it correct to say that Descartes' version of dualism differed from prior dualism because of his emphasis on the body being able to do things such as produce body heat and move without the soul requiring it to do so? Also, I am a bit confused on how he helped in paving the way for a science of psychology. Was it due to the fact that his focus on the body and its functions being unrelated to the soul's control allowed for more things to be scientifically studied (since things that would be product by the soul couldn’t be scientifically studied because it operates on its own free will)? Thank you so much!
