When fishing with multiplier is there a certain amount of time in free spool you like the reel to spin for say like 10seconds so you caan set the mags to get max distance but stop the dreaded birdy or do you just have them on max braking and loosen off when its in the air.
@C3BFAАй бұрын
I have them on full for a few casts then take them off a click at a time on each cast normally end up with 4 clicks off. With bait fishing I rarely take mags of mid cast I only do that when field casting
@shanevl85Ай бұрын
Just curious why u bothered flo coating under the floor. The glass was waterproof without it. And u will never see it. I didn't bother when i did mine. Just used expanding foam between the stringers. Cut and sand flat then three layers double bias as floor. Tuff as and will never rot. Cant sink this thing when u fill it like a bathtub
@C3BFAАй бұрын
Because the bare glass isn't water proof from the research I have done. Plus it was laminating resin so needs to be sealed off. And it's just extra protection

Watching this VID from Down under - Still deciding if I go Marine Plywood - Traditional overhaul for stringers or Foam Filled aspects as you done- the Yanks swear by it strength. Love to know your answer
@C3BFAАй бұрын
Thanks for watching Peter I would love to visit your county one day and do some fishing. The foam core stringers will never rot. The foam is not the strength it's the fibreglass, the foam is just a mold to put the glass around. I would go with 3 - 6 layers of 600 chop depending on boat size. I used 450 chop and roven I did 6+ layers. If you use marine ply the ply is the strength so you can use less fibreglass but one day it will rot out meaning it needs to be done again. Foam stringers only get done once. Hope this helps let me know if you have anymore questions. Thanks Dave

How refreshing to see lure fishing presented for what it really is. Putting the effort in, content in the learning process, environment it takes place in, and the delayed gratification of those red letter days when the fish are on it. I must try and do more of this type of fishing - not that far away from me but all too often I end up on the south coast.
@C3BFAАй бұрын
Thanks fish wish. Lure fishing can be absolutely amazing but then it can be dead as you know I don't know why either not on this day anyway it made no sense. But it was an amazing place to be in the morning, nice and quiet just sea rocks and wildlife it's hard to beat
@FishwishАй бұрын
@ I love it. When I started making vids for KZbin, that changed as I’d get frustrated that no fish meant no vid. Got over it about three years ago when I accepted that I’ll never make an income from it so back to just enjoying being out and being grateful for the small things. What I like about this vid. Working with young people and trying to inspire them only goes so far as they get on KZbin and quickly develop unrealistic expectations and an unhealthy obsession for tackle that they believe will help them reach them.
