@@C3BFA Thanks Dave that's good you have a busy 2024 lined up, been busy at work or family commitments I'm trying to get out and wet a line myself to target the cod, on the holderness coast ppl have been catching haddock from the shore not many cod been showing that I've read about. Thanks Rob. Can't get out much myself unfortunately. Work, training, school runs and also being a stay at home dad it's all a lot but I'm trying lol. I hope your flu clears up ASAP

On the west coast where I am near Aberaeron there is lots of bullhuss if you get chance to fish up here you should have one

We used to get lots of pouting down our way back in the 80 s and early 90s once the cleaned up the sewer discharge from around the coast they all but dissappeard along with a lot of mullet and bass shoals

@C3BFA .the sewer outfall used to feed all the worm beds and the once massive crab 🦀 population. Once they stopped the discharge it killed all their food supply and the worm beds and crab diminished massively. I used to rake crab 🦀 out of the gulleys down at mumbles causeway like it was nothing huge quantities. Verry slow there now .the once massive mullet and bass shoals underneath mumbles pier also dissappeard once pipes were turned of .
