Lucia was very good. I prefer a slightly deeper tone, a soprano with a little bit of mezzo in her voice. But that's just my personal preference. Edgardo was good, but he is one of those tenors who winds himself up to high notes. I am probably not describing it well. Jose Carreras was one of those tenors. Great voice. Great technique. I absolutely hated the way he was singing. Arturo was not very good. Very weak. Raimondo - what the hell is this man doing on stage? He was godawful. He had a hoarse voice. He sounds like a man with a cold. Enrico was amazing. Just spectacular. Bravo.

Lucia's main roles are notoriously difficult due the technique required to sing them properly without struggle. These singers are so unsuitable for these roles and the half hearted applause says everything

Ma se l’autore l’ambienta in un’epoca storica perché ci sono dei geni che decidono di cambiare ambientale e costumi? Nessun rispetto per l’autore, per questo non vado più a teatro

Bravo! Great voice! Watch your hands a little more. Don’t forget that You’re singing a cruel emperor who’s about to understand the supremacy of god. A little more anger at the beginning at “ah prigioniero io sono!” But in general very very good!!!

A fine performance. The lead soprano, tenor and baritone had such rich and powerful voices!

Don’t care for the tenor playing Edgardo. Too bright and forward in his tone, not really sounding like an opera singer.

He doesn't. They're too young to be singing these complex and difficult roles

I thought this was admirable and the singers held their own. Lucia was able to have heft over the group at the end of the sextette. I didn't agree with every directorial choice but I gotta say I love that there was clear motivation and intention. I love hated the smelling salts that revived Lucia just before singing, super smart concept, just wish it had been earlier and a wee more subtle. Edgardo have a great open sound, was that rally Terrence Chin-Loy? Anyway he was good. Also love how bad boy Enrico held his own and not easy to carry over over the higher squillo of Lucia and Edgardo.

I had ts in 5th grade and up, students in my school would laugh at me and for that reason I would tell my mom I didn't feel well or I would lie about anything just so my mom would let me stay home and I never told my mom that kids would laugh and make fun of me I missed a lot of school because of that I was ashamed to tell my mom but I think my mom knew why I would fake being sick and not go to school my mom was a very smart and caring mom till the day she passed away and always been a loving and caring mom I love her and miss her so much.

How gracious you are to share such a painful experience and to show us how you overcame it without bitterness or blame. Discovering your voice must have been the catalyst that broke the TS. Singing has long been used therapeutically for stutterers with positive effects. Congratulations on your balanced philosophy and attitude, unusual but useful qualities in the profession you've chosen.
