Nice Place but some of the people who work there takes it all away. Lots of nepotism and entitlement at Kwaj

Imagine fighting a war against “degeneracy” only for what you would consider to be a nearly naked woman film herself jumping off the propeller of the rusting wreck of one of your greatest warships nearly 80 years later

Beautiful place but the statement "being key for US national security" is just propaganda. These islands are thousands of miles from the US coast and are just a location to project US hegemonic power around the globe. US destroyed the area with their nuclear tests and stole their land. Hope the local inhabitants can one day rid themselves of this legacy.

Why didn’t they just take it to the atoll and leave it there floating with a part stuck on the sand instead of capsizing it?

Brought back memories of my Uncle Albert telling me that he had opened the seacocks on his Destroyer Ralph Talbot to sink it in this area. It was radioactive after having being used in post WWII atomic bomb tests.
