I really liked it, a lot of highway miles and it had a quiet cabin ride & the seats were comfortable for wide shoulders. Good gas mileage, the Bluetooth worked great, & I loved the keyless entry. The only problem I have with it is the motor blew & there was a massive recall on the motors for a lot of Hyundai & Kia vehicles from like 2012-2016 & my experience with trying to get Hyundai to fix it were a nightmare. They did not honor my recall for some dumb minor reason. Because of that I don’t think I will ever buy a Hyundai again. I have a Honda Accord 4dr now & love it.

Sorry it didn’t help you, I didn’t think of taking a video until I had already done the process. So then I just tried to explain it.

I was just saying you didn't show how to repair the issue. And all you explained was to break up the ice and pour hot water on the ice to melt it. Then the video cuts off

I did not have a good remote, only the one I was trying to program. After programming I walked far away from the car & came back.

@@thejoki04 ok guess ill try that. I have a good remote that works then my spare doesn’t work at all, the red light comes on. Thats about it

I just wonder by having the one that works near by is effecting the one that doesn’t work

What did you do

Correct, the fans only kick on when the engine temp starts to rise. If they don’t kick on when your engine temp rises then you could have an issue like I posted.

@@thejoki04 The temp gauge rises a only to a little under halfway. I can't hear the fans come on but at the same time, I have the blower on full speed. I guess the fans wouldn't come on until the temp gauge started getting towards hot?

You are correct. If you have your a/c on max & your engine temp is not rising to the point that your fans kick on, your fan relays are most likely fine & it’s a problem with the a/c. If u want to test your fans just leave the car running for awhile & eventually they should kick on as the engine temp rises. For your a/c I would start by depleting the Freon, then recharging them with some cans from Walmart. I recommend using a warm wash cloth/towel to wrap the a/c cans in while you recharge, shaking them continuously as it will push more Freon. Sometimes if you try to recharge the a/c Freon without depleting it, it may not work.

With your car running and full a/c on blast, you should hear your a/c compressor kick on & off at some point. If it’s low on Freon it probably won’t. Could be a Freon issue, or a bad compressor.

My red light stays on too! The weird thing is when I hit the lock button now it unlocks my car. Still can’t get the fob to work properly.

Mine did that too numerous times. Idk if it was the moving out of the proximity of the car after redoing it that fixed it or what, but someone else in the comments had the same thing & said moving away from the car after doing the steps again fixed it.

@cristofermorales1052 These are the instructions I talked about in the video. They did not work exactly as stated, so I made the video to show what I did. Enter your Honda, shut all doors, and have your key and fobs to be programmed ready. Insert the key and turn to the “On” position. On the fob, press and hold the “LOCK” button for one second. Release the button and turn the key to the “Off” position. Repeat this process twice more. Turn the key to the “On” position and hold the “LOCK” button on the key fob for one second. Wait for the doors to lock and unlock automatically. Once the locks have cycled, your vehicle is in remote programming mode. Hold the “LOCK” button for one second. Your Honda key fob will be programmed once the locks cycle again. Repeat the process with any additional fobs that need programming. Exit remote programming mode by turning the key to the “Off” position in the ignition.

I believe the tech service bulletin on it says you have to upgrade to the 150 amp.

@@thejoki04 so update.. I couldn’t find the 150 online so I ordered the same 125 and it has worked fine. The dealership said there was a waitlist for the part.

From what I could tell it’s some form of a safety shutoff - connected to the pto and parking brake. If either the pto or parking brake are engaged I think the switch cuts power to the spark plug.

Turn it all the way to the right without starting it.

Yep! Before I unplugged the connector I did not have spark, unplugged it & I started having spark. I would unplug the connector, turn it over a little, plug it back in, then be sure you hear the click when you turn the key on(not start), & with the key on be sure the parking brake engages & disengages. Then you should be able to start it up.

Do you mean the one without anything attached to it that my friend was holding at the end of the video? That is the vacuum tank, It is about dead center on the firewall back behind the engine. If you notice, you will see 2 vacuum lines coming off the front of that tank. One lines goes over to the AC lines, right between then and through t he firewall and the other line? it goes to the intake at back of engine. between the small vacuum tank and the engine, in the vacuum line is a very small plastic item, That is the check valve. It can fail but more common? the hard plastic line from tank to firewall develops a crack in it. You need to follow and inspect both vacuum lines leading from the tank for any small cracks.

It sounds like you’re getting the same error I did & a lot of others in the comments. I know there’s no guarantee that changing the fuse will fix it, but it did for me & a lot of others on here. I would probably start with that.

I would think you could try pushing new fluid through it as long as you don’t get air in the lines & see if that works. However, that’s exactly what mine was doing, wanted to take off with the clutch fully squeezed. The only fix I found was doing the steps in the video.

A little go inside the wall, then I bent the rest down & flat and sandwiched them between the wall and the doorbell housing.

How did you get the cover off

@willholt2443 look at the bottom of the doorbell & you will see a little tab you can push in with a smaller screwdriver to release the bottom of the doorbell.

Everything just stopped and I was unable to drive the car. I had to tow it off the interstate to troubleshoot.

Sorry, just saw this. I did not see any of those codes, but prior to changing the fuse, the car would not start and drive.

I’m not sure about a recall, I haven’t been following it since my fix. There is a TSB for this issue where they say the fuse needs to be replaced with a bigger one.
