I just spec'd a 2025 F-350 Platinum Dual Rear Wheel on Ford's Build and price tool with every available option. $110,810. Pricey, yes. But not $130k. It's a lot of truck capable of handling almost as much as a big rig while doing it in the utmost luxury. Starting with an XL work truck is around $48k. Large gap in price for getting what you want/need in a Super Duty.

The 4K towing pack is available on both engines. The Hybrid AWD will likely be produced in higher production numbers than FWD. The price increase 2025 Xl and XLT models are $875 over previous and the AWD option on the Hybrid is $2,220 over the standard FWD.

This is our first delivered unit that was ordered by a customer so it is sold. But we have more 2025's STs en route!

Can anyone tell me what axel ratio they are running? 3.31 with 37 inch tires? Can't find any information about gear swaps for the bigger tires.

The rear axles are the same as factory. The speedometer is recalibrated for the larger tire size. The Super Duty's power output does not struggle with the extra tire weight/size. It's only an 8.5% increase in diameter and circumference over stock tire size.

I have a 2015 Escape. The car is off and I am sitting inside with the doors locked from the inside door lock button. I did not use the fob. In between the fuel and temperature gages, there is a flashing red "i" enclosed in a red square. What is this?

Would you prefer this Shelby Super Baja or the Ram Powerwagon? Which is bigger, more spacious, more reliable, has a better MPG, better in off-roading, and overall the better option for a daily driver. I would appreciate a response pls

The Super Baja is the clear choice here. The Ram is a basic truck while the Ford is custom, rare, and loaded with performance. The Super Baja will vastly outperform the Ram on-road and off-road with its upgraded suspension. The Power Wagon also only comes with a gasoline V8 while the Super Baja has a 6.7L PowerSroke Turbo Diesel which will not only get better MPGs it has more than double the Ram's torque

What does the symbol on a 2017 dodge escape that looks like an "i" with a circle around it between the fuel gauge and temp. gauge on the dashboard?

I'm not sure what you mean by Dodge Escape? Did you mean Ford? the "i" is for information it wants you to see. Could be low tire pressure or similar. Navigate in the digital dash area via the steering wheel buttons to the vehicle screen and find information.

I have a 2019 escape titanium that started bucking like it was misfiring and the red oil light temporarily flashed on but then the problem stopped. The oil level is good. Would a misfire trigger that red oil light? Is that the check engine light too?

The oil light is separate from the CEL. However, I would still try and pull codes to see if anything pops up. You can schedule with your dealer, or a local shop, or at least go to an auto parts store to pull any codes off the OBDII. It could have just been some bad fuel that caused a misfire or bucking as you said could also be transmission-related. You will definitely want to look into this as soon as you can.

@@RichmondFordWestGlenAllen thanks for your reply. I have since hooked it up to my BlueDriver scan tool and there are no existing or long term codes present. Not sure if the bucking temporarily caused the oil pressure light to flicker. It happened so fast that I did not even know what the light was. I simply saw a quick flicker of red by the tach and I looked it up online to see that it was the engine oil light. The bucking has happened about 3-4 times in the past 5-6 weeks. It quickly resolves and does not repeat on any given trip. I have tried different gas but I did not think it was a gas issue because the station I get my gas at is less than 5 years old so the tanks there would be good. It has about 66,000 miles now so while the plugs should be good it’s possible it needs new plugs and coils but not sure. My experience with misfires on previous Fords I had was they caused the check engine light to flash or come on.

Get a Lincoln Aviator. They can be had for cheaper and are serious luxury compared to an Explorer ST. Just had a client buy a brand new awd Aviator for 52k. The Explorer ST around here starts at 60k!

You have to be 18 to take a test drive with a valid driver's license (not a learner's permit) and have insurance.

It’s sad that Ford has based all of their trucks off of the Maverick. The vertical screen is utterly hideous. I have a ‘23 Ranger and it will probably be the last Ford truck I’ll own. The new Ford trucks are the worst looking trucks they’ve ever produced. Everything now looks like they’re just bigger versions of a Maverick with a separate bed/cab.

Some think the design of the previous Ranger was weak with the slanted downward nose. But I am not in that group. I own a 2020 Ranger and think it looks great! The new Ranger follows the boxy styling of the new Ford line. The Maverick is not the only vehicle to wear the boxier shape. It's a Ford-wide design cue with the C-clamp lights.

Be aware.. sync 4 is a freemium system, where things were free in sync 3, you now have to pay a monthly charge in sync4 and need a data plan and have to give away location details as well as driving details to the national insurance agency's of America.. which is in the fine print of the required app to use everything. Imo that's a good enough reason to avoid the ford, and choose the tacoma..

Connected services are free of charge. To use FordPass and to receive over-the-air updates you do not have to subscribe to paid services. SYNC 3 and SYNC 4 require a subscription for connected navigation after the trial period, however, offline maps are always available without a subscription. The WiFi hot spot (data plan) is a subscription service as is SiriusXM radio as they have been through all SYNC systems but neither are required. When you sign up for the FordPass app and agree to connected services you will share location data and driving details, however, nowhere in the user agreement mentions sharing this data with insurance agencies. This data helps Ford utilize the features within the FordPass app such as mapping points of interest, scheduling service, finding fuel or charging locations, connecting to your vehicle to provide information/warnings about low fluid levels/TPMS/and other warnings related to the condition of your vehicle. FordPass/connected services are not required to use SYNC 4.

@@RichmondFordWestGlenAllen So, Ford owns an insurance company and don't use word play, typical dealership jargon, offline maps isn't navigation, the sync3 system had offline navigation the 4 shows you a map with no navigation. you need the ford pass app and a paid service to use navigation, which is a freemium app that used to be free. Now you need a data plan and the app must be integrated with location services enabled, so not really navigation if you need a cell phone to use it. As per the fine print, ford collects location, integration and speed details as well of personal details linking your speed and location to your vin number, which ford has linked to you through service records, or too much info and not needed.. as per the ota updates, try updating it without location services enabled, doesn't work.. It's a freemium system and frankly if it worked well it would be annoying but functional, in reality it locks constantly, freezes, and flakes connections.. it's poorly developed and it ruined the free and actual usable systems of prior..

91+ Premium Fuel is recommended for optimal performance but the 5.0L will run on 87.
