That's the whole point of this video. The manufacturing is done in china nowadays and people don't know that. They think if its made in japan, its real. But that is not true.

if you register for warranty and put seriel number if it verifies on the website it means its original made in china is because it is manufactured in china similarly you can see nike shoes and samsung memory cards are made in Vietnam that doesn't means it is fake all. zara products are made in Bangladesh Vietnam even some roadster t shirts and jeans caps are made in Bangladesh hope you the point

Nhi actually waterproof is not the only thing you be looking too. The things you should be looking for Fully stainless steel case with solid link bracelet(benyar ap homage). Review is on the channel and the watch is only for 2k so best for rough use. Otherwise the situation you r in a gshok will solve the best.

Which brand ? Check for any serial number and try to verify that serial no. from brand website. Check for any qr code and scan it. If you pull the crown and rotate it to adjust time, just notice the tension. If it moves with a tension high chances of original product but if it moves freely it can be a fake one.

Its a very good watch edifice has been most valued series from casio but they are on a bulkier side. I suggest you play with 539bk for some time then decide wheter to buy another chunky edifice or not. Also consider casioak out there for quite a long time now.
