Hi! I have an iMac 2017 i5 with 1TB Fusion Drive. For me the internal SSD has enough capacity, I really don’t need extra storage space. However, I am considering upgrading the internal hard drive to the Electra 6G. Do you also recommend to upgrade the SSD blade to the Aura Pro X2 even if the storage space of the Apple one is enough? I would do that only to increase the speed of the machine, and honestly it it does not increase the speed compared to the Apple SSD, I would prefer not to disassemble the entire machine. I would just swap the hard disk with the Electra 6G and call it the day. Any thoughts or recommendations?

How long did this hold up for? I have been told by a few people that you can easily paint the anodized aluminum, and sanding the aluminum down only leave you with a surface that won't work with most types of paint.

Using this lens on full frame is actually a terrible idea with the previous version (10-18mm) existing and lenses built for FF like the Samyang 14mm AF. You add the fact that the external zone is way more distorded than the rectilinear center and you see why it would be a really bad idea to do that

I have one of the Qwiizlab USB-B Hubs. I highly recommend, but just remember to do two things: 1. Make sure you have enough room at the bottom and between the MacMini for air circulation 2. For power, plug into separate electrical outlet and not the computer.

Great review, thank you 😀 I totally agree with your comments. I had the X1 Omni for more than 1 year and it was good, I had zero problems. But the X2 is massive step forward. Yes the navigation and AI needs improvement, but this will come with software updates. The hardware design is the standout feature of this robot, for instance the dust collector bin in the robot, huge improvement over X1, now is fully emptied every time by the base station, X1 used to leave some pieces inside the dust bin. I really like the X2 and it works great in my house, can't wait for some further software updates.

I bought a late-2013 i7 this year. Sadly it died, but it ran Ubuntu very well for 15 days.
