That job was such a drudgery to build; the mud and the snow and relentless cold winds and the water would flood in from the bottoms of the piers; the clay mud smelled like dog poop; makes me laugh a bit now and I think it is a beautiful building and pavillion; I just think it would look better forest green

The description did not claim to be the entire show. And, if you'd read the description's last line, you would have seen the hotlink to a playlist of videos taken during the evening.

We would like to use 30 seconds of your video for a documentary we are doing on the Tall Ships Celebration. Could you please get a hold of us at [email protected] Thanks.
@FrancisLaLonde8 жыл бұрын
I sent an e-mail a few weeks back. Just in case the e-mail didn't reach you, here's a copy of my message: I would have no problems with you using a short portion for your documentary. I would ask, though, that some credit be attached (nothing fancy - just something during closing credits or whatever would be standard).My preferred name is "Francis Lalonde" If that would be satisfactory, then I will look forward to it. If you'd like access to the original file, please let me know. Sincerely,Francis (Frank) Lalonde

I used to love looking at this buildings in the hope of one day building a model of the place. I wish I had taken some pictures before the demolition.
@FrancisLaLonde12 жыл бұрын
Oh...I don't even know why I titled it that...I have several clips from during the demolition of the site, and I think I planned on uploading the rest, but at the time my wifi signal wasn't too great. So... ;) I'm actually caught up a bit, so I might go back and finish the saga (though the rest are even more boring than this one...)

@tinman3804 Don't know why, but the comment had been flagged as 'spam'...must be some KZbin 'setting' or something...I've set it as 'not spam'...Actually, the building had been vacant since the mid-70's, with various temporary tenants (one which actually manufactured some of the cement 'beams' for Ford Field - so I'm told). Sad, but at least the city is finally taking action to put the property to use, rather than basically sitting around collecting...uh...dust...
