MAHINDRA XUV 700 DOOR PANEL REMOVING VIDEO
@kennyman3386 күн бұрын
I just subscribed. I plan on retinting my tahoe (suv) i tinted it years ago the front door 35% over the factory 70% Now my back rear door windows haven't been tinted and those are factory 20-25% the 35% I have on the front door are much lighter then the rears. I'm going to be taking off the 35% and putting 20% on the front doors. Then 20% over the rear doors to make them around 5% Where I live in Arizona I think the tint law is kinda vague cause I've seen people driving around with much darker tint even with 35% on the front windshield. Some do get away with it some you might get pulled over. I like watching your videos cause it's more how do it and explained very well to learn from.

@@kennyman338 let us know if your Tahoe feels or looks like a different car when you darken it haha.. In Arizona, what is the actual law for tint? @S3Tint10 күн бұрын
You know.. I had to think about this for a minute. I think the one tip I would give, is to master cutting by hand and not to rely on a plotter. Granted it will take 1000's of cars before it's mastered, the confidence you'll have if the plotter breaks or even the confidence of knowing that anywhere in the world you go, you have a skill you can turn into easy cash is powerful imo. Not to mention the competitive advantage you'll have over other tinters that won't be able to tint import and classic vehicles but you will. Hope that answers your question 😅

Quick question. Do you let people know that it could be illegal? Do you still charge for removal?
@S3Tint10 күн бұрын
Yea I try to always let them know, especially if I get the feeling they are new to the province or country. Since so many cars have illegal tint, it's easy for newcomers to assume. I always charge removal too, even though I try to let customers know, the onus is ultimately not on me.

I like the fact you don't leave that gap around the edges of the door glass like many installers do. Nice work! As for the ambient light I think it's a hit and miss. My guess is the best thing to do is turn the ambient light completely off before the install and don't turn them back on until a few days have passed so that everything is dried up before sending power to them. Just a guess but certainly won't hurt.

To this day I still can get it. The door covers I use are pretty handy at blocking a lot of the contamination that comes up but it's really just going to come down to how much you flush (and how you flush) after rolling the window up and before you peel off the backing sheet completely.

Personally I much prefer two stage. I don't think there's a 'best' since both have there pros and cons.
