@@MrThrottlebender There is a priority order given to functions. If the hydraulics become too stressed it will decide to stop one and give to the other. This will definitely happen in high range, but would only happen in low if something was too heavy for it or taking too much hydraulic flow. If this was happening a lot maybe a bigger (or much more expensive) machine would suit the needs better. You should demo one and find out for yourself. There's one guy who bought one, and used it for a few days before calling us about leaks and stuff working wrong. We went and got it (and brought him a loaner) and looked it over. There wasn't anything wrong, but he was so worried about it he wanted to return it. He admitted that he had never run one before, so we figured he was using high range and forgetting to switch between them. We can't just return a unit with 20 hours on it and with nothing wrong, so to make things as right as possible we gave him 90% back and went out separate ways. A little while later he started posting videos about it with all kinds of things. Kioti saw it and called us to tell us to leave the machine in the back and not touch it. They sent one of their lead service techs out to check it out, and while trying to replicate the problems in the video he couldn't find a single problem. They green lit us to sell it so we cleaned it up and sold it at a discount to another customer. He hasn't had any of those problems. I still can't figure out what all that was about, but it was one of the wilder stories of our year.

@@anthonyweigand2300 Yes sir! Kioti has a lot of gear, but it's up in the air which dealer has which specific hat. You could call our parts department and have them ship one, or see if your local dealer can order it!

Yes, but its electronic, not a mechanical stopper on the lever! You can set an upper/lower limit.

I guess we'll have to see! In my opinion the vents make more sense on the newer model and should defrost fine. The handle also feels better than the one in the RX20.

It has a 5 year/1,200 hour warranty, so it's one of the best in industry. I'm not sure what you mean.

Reverse is low range. It doesn't have high range reverse.

Yes, all the CK26 units are a 100ci 3 cylinder tuned to just under 25hp with mechanical injection. It used to be Kioti's 30hp engine in the CK30, but like many other manufacturers they detuned it slightly to have an option that stays under emissions control regulations. It really shines in the market as it's one of the largest/heaviest models that doesn't have any sort of computer/emissions engine.

Just checked the shop manual and got 12.36GPM implement pump flow @ 2,600 RPM. That will flow from rear remotes and 3rd function. As of right now there isn't a backhoe option. The older RX had it as an option, but it wasn't very common. Maybe they decided it wasn't worth it, or maybe the subframe just isn't designed yet.

LS has always been interesting to me, but like most, I don't have any dealers close by. They're the 3rd place manufacturer out of Korea so support isn't as good nationwide. If I had a good local dealer I wouldn't shy away.

The M7060 Really competes with the RX7320, even with the ultra grand cab 2. This competes with the M4D071

This is interesting. None of the problems the NX had during its run would make it jump into neutral randomly. My guess is the H/M/L shifter linkage wasn't fully seated (it was hard to engage on that model) or the pedals were getting input at the same time. If the F/R pedals both got any input at the same time it would give an error code and stop moving. Either way, i'm glad they were able to get you switched over!

@@MatthewK88x The major one was an electronic component on the HST transmission. They had a bad run of them that needed replaced, and it required the tractor split to do it. They had a lot of units with the problem and it took awhile to get replacement parts, so it was definitely the biggest headache. There was also a bad run of safety control modules (where all the safety switches run to) that would fail and create a no start situation. This was a much easier fix and not as big a deal. Lastly, there was an issue created when they switched over to the current seat design that would create grounding issues for the HST control box. They fixed it quickly with a ground strap. Besides these issues caused by a bad run of electronic parts the NX was very stout. You'll see 2014-2018 units that have thousands of hours with no issues, and once fixed are totally fine.

I think if I were to take the nicest/biggest lawn tractor money could buy with a 60% deck i'd still be 50%-75% faster with this unit. One turn around trees and corners, 180 degree turns at the edge of the flat long straights, and way more hillside confidence.

Going down hills is very controlled. The only problem it shares with regular zero turns is that it can't back straight up. I changed tires to something more aggressive and solved this. The big PRO Z units have an E Brake, but you don't need to use it unless you have an emergency (like a drive belt breaking). If you remember it's there you can use it on the fly. The units transmissions hold it back going down very well.

Keep in mind the PRO units usually have demos available at local dealers. Ask them to try one!

@@kentonequipment4687 Thanks for all the input! So dealers around here are not great unfortunately. They have a demo proz 554s and they want to sell it to me, with discount.. But they won’t let me demo it because they say “then it’s used”…. But they took my trade for “demo evaluation” lol! They want 8250 for a new proz554s. If it wasn’t for the cheap price I’d run.

Yeah I think the greater point was that these 2 models can be bought for about the same price locally. I actually just checked currently, and they're still higher priced than we are between these two models. How much tractor can you get for the money?

Are you asking about front 3rd function hydraulics? It definitely has power beyond available at the loader valve, and hydraulic flow is over 20gpm coming from that.

@@rinacamden3629 It has 3 remotes that all have the option to lock power open. Hopefully that answers your question. I don't know if we're using the same terminology.

It definitely slows down when functions are split, where the Kubota isn't as noticeable, and the Kioti dual functions are harder to find. Deciding between ease of use on the loader and raw power is the biggest trade off.

What?! Kubotas are supposed to be completely trouble free! But seriously, you're right on the money. Dealer service and support are the most important factor. All equipment will have some sort of problem every once and awhile.

I'd assume it's accurate. On some of the smaller manual transmission models the PTO retains a little more HP, but on larger (more featured) models there are some other hydraulic systems that take power from the PTO clutch.

You're going to find that most dealers don't post pricing at all because it takes a MONUMENTAL effort to keep all that stuff current and accurate all year long. If they, do they might post MSRP, but I couldn't tell you i've ever seen a dealer actually selling at MSRP. The market is to competitive for that. If you look at our website you won't see MSRP. You'll see accurate sale pricing that's around 20% less than MSRP, and i'd guess falls in line with where most dealers around the country are.

You missed the point of the video

No, it just has to do with market demand. The tires on the 900 are taller than the 700, but not wider. There's not a huge market for a full size frame commercial zero turn with a deck smaller than 60". I don't see a demand for a 38.5hp engine pushing a 54" deck. The only argument for getting the 900 would be the air-ride seat.

@kentonequipment4687 yes that was what I wanted. Some of the yards I mow are tight and my 48 inch mower gets through, so I really don't want bigger than the 54, but would love the air ride seat. Do you think it could be ordered that way?

@@jjwatkins9937 It could be bought through parts, but it's an expensive option. The suspension seat on the 700 is really nice on it's own and would be generally preferred over spending $2,000 just for air ride.

I had a great conversation with the lead product manager at Kioti a few months ago. We were talking about the "dream changes" to ultimately fill out the product line. The RX should be made a little bigger, going from 80-90hp, and the NX should come in starting at 60-65hp, and ending at around 75hp. It could have the 4 cylinder the RX has (they share the same hood, so there should be room) and have the most advanced features with a newer electronic HST. Who knows what we'll see in the future!
