Hi Aishwarya, I have my G test scheduled in couple weeks in Owen Sound. I couldn’t find the G test route anywhere, unlike other locations. Is there anything I should know of that might be helpful except that the speed limit on the Hwy as you mentioned is 80 :) It will be so helpful, thank you!!! Jyoti

it a pretty simple route, should be fairly easy, it's primarily the road outside the test centre, just make sure you merge with patience as you have to watch traffic from both sides then a left turn to the road they consider the highway and after about 3-4 kms, when the main city starts, another left turn into the residential area and then 3 right turns last one is right next to a tim hortons and you will be back on the same highway and driving back to the test centre. There is an alternate route as well but the only difference is, instead of left turn for residential area, it's a right turn and within 5 minutes you exit the residential area again to come back on the highway, that one I think is near a school. but overall, the main thing where you need to pay attention is speed matching, lane changes and checking blind spots while taking turns. All the best for your exam, hope you clear it with flying colors.

Hi! How did you show proof on funds on landing once you did wire transfer from India before landing?

They officer did not ask for proof of funds during the immigration process but we were still carrying copies of our account statement. In terms of the fund transfer, we only transferred a small amount and not all the funds.

you can check if the experience is admissible in Canada, if it is then you will be able to directly give the G test after G2 written test.
