I got all except the helmet one because I thought if you just accidentally drop it on a table it’ll be fine so I said a few light impacts or one hard impact

the average guy will only use these specialty tools a couple of times so if they only last a couple of uses it's fine. I when i fixed up my old race bike i bought the cheapest tools. They were heavily worn from just using it once but i just know i will never use them again anyway.

Thanks for making this vid! What a great way to introduce new riders into mountain biking AND bike building! I know several youth who can't afford an entry level "nice" bike but this removes that obstacle. One question: How does the straight wall fork you recommend work in a tapered steering tube? Anyone have experience making the recommended fork work?

I would be interested in the profit side because I need a job you know when your business goes down no one to hire you because you won't take a shot Majority of the population here ride bikes everywhere

Ummm, tires. Just start with the tires. If you've ridden on cheap then gone to those... you know. Then the suspension. Then push one up over a mtn then the other and see how many feet of elevation til you notice the difference. There's a sweet spot where the $$$ is at optimum then diminishing returns kicks in... at about $3 to 6K depending on your currency. It ain't $400. But you (we) knew that already. Got the views tho! :)

Yes. The ball Alen key only is used to down the screw, not to torque it😅

Only the person using the $13,000 bike can give you all of the details of why each thing is necessary. If you don’t use it you wouldn’t know. If you buy the $400 bike then that’s all you need for what you do. I have a 10k triathlon bike and will go up against a store bought bike any day and they’ll see personally the differences

This headstock would be great application for gravel bikes. Since now we are seeing gravel rigs essentially turning into Mtb hardtails lol.

I'm kinda broke but love working on my bike! I bought a cheap vintage Specialized Hardrock. It was in kinda bad condition so it was cheap. I've been upgrading it month by month as I'm going and it's starting to become a cool bike. I really like working on it and I could've bought an entry level bike by now but this is more fun in my opinion!

We have a roadbike race so we have roadbikes here very few because they are very expensive But we're a country of beach cruisers We're moving out of beach cruisers to Walmart Full suspension bikes and I'm not talking about Ozark trail...😅😊😊 These kids don't even know what it's like to do a trick, they're doing manuals that's about it but no Bunny hop and no catching air they can manual... I was able to buy a dirt jumper frame for my 26 inch parts for my old trek and I'm so stoked to get that put together and start riding again at least that but to bring in a name brand bike new At 38.8% duty plus shipping.

One of the great videos I've seen. If you've never tried to tow or pull anything with a bike in your child hood (or adulthood), you have not lived. This is nostalgic beyond belief. Great fun video, thanks!

I have almost that same colorful hex wrench set packed into my on-bike tool kit that goes with me everywhere. I think having a few decent smaller cheap tools like this to carry on a ride is worth way more than the multi-tools in terms of usability. The multi tools are compact, but they suck to use if you really break something and need some more full size options. That's where the ali-express army of cheap and compact tools really shine. They aren't the greatest, but they do the job at a larger size and easier handling than a multi-tool will, which to me makes trailside repairs much easier and more enjoyable when you're not fighting with the tools.

A upgrade to this would be ,...universal mount to pedals, break sensing with amber flash modes, turns off if not in motion.wireless to a turn signal mounted switch on handlebars, basically a smart pedal, like the smart break light...💡
