Two greats right there, Steve Marcus and Andy Fusco they sat next to each other on chairs in the Buddy Rich Band. Sadly both now gone. RIP both and God Bless Them.

I was shocked and saddedened to learn of the passing of Andy Fusco. He first came to my notice as lead alto with Buddy Rich. Buddy really liked Andy, he was a character and there are a couple of funny stories of Andy on the bus with Buddy as they were on the road. Rest In Peace Andy you brought good music to those with a discerning ear and thank you for being a good guy. If Buddy thought YOU were OK you were definitely that, OK !!

Thank you Steve, I saw you play some years back when you visited Sydney Australia with Vital Information. I too like all these Wilcoxon solo's. Your explanations are great.

Drove from Montreal to get to this gig on the Friday. Amazing! One of the top drummers out there. Janek and Manuel were brilliant as well.

I love the sound of these now old kits. They seem a lot more fun than the standard modern kit.

Tom Sawyer! RUSH! my fave band! Trading 4s sounding killer. Whenever I play rush stuff I like to do this as well on drums… Btw Steve, that concert up in Oshkosh last month was just stunning. You have the best lineup of vital information by far. Please keep it going. I really loved the music and I wish I wasn’t so starstruck when I met you……..

I just got my first Wilcoxin book. Always wanted them after finding out Philly Joe was into him. I can't read well enough yet to play anything more than the rudiments at the beginning, but some day with the help of a good teacher, I will. I've seen you twice Steve through Bentley's Drum Shop. A clinic and with your band Raga Bop Trio. I've got both your DVDs. The one with Jazz Legacy is exciting to watch and inspirational. You're a true master and incredible Jazz drummer. Your idols would be proud of you 👏

The captured solo is still my favorite rock solo. Had it 8 track and listened to it on repeat when I started playing in 82.

Steve is a master man . Beautiful musician. I’ve seen him sit in for many of the greats and man to do that you are a boss . Steve smith and his understanding of Indian music as well and applying it to the kit . He’s a master straight out .

What a sound....Ever since I saw Steve's drum head set up, tuning, and heard the sound it produces, I began to emulate it and haven't looked back. Thanks, Steve 💪👍

A true master. So fluid that when he plays the rock radio hits, he almost wants to bend it in to jazz out of boredom. I've noticed that when he was last touring with Journey......
