I've been trying your services out just now for the past hour, bouncing each individual stem of a song I'm working on to your two tape machines. One thing I'd like to ask, when the track is completely silent I was expecting to hear a small hiss or some sort of artefact that I thought would have been typical of analog tape. But it appears to be dead silence. Why is this?

Help me understand! I bought Bettermaker Mastering Limiter 2.0 and am working in Cubase. Why when reducing the output volume on Limiter 2.0 Bettermaker Mastering, the peaks still pass through and the red peak lights up on the channel? In software limiters, by reducing the output volume, we are protected from peaks, but in Bettermaker Mastering Limiter 2.0, by reducing the output volume, peaks still pass through?! Is this how it should be or am I missing something? And, another question - does it matter where to put the Limiter 2.0 Bettermaker control plugin itself, on the master channel or on the track? Thank you in advance! I've already tried recording between two computers via analog connections and the peaks appear again on the recording computer. But it shouldn’t be, on software limiters, when the output level is reduced even by -05 db, the peaks do not pass, but in Bettermaker Mastering Limiter 2.0 they do. And, in general, is it necessary to connect the sound card via analog inputs and outputs with a cable, or does this processor also work via a USB plug-in? Or maybe some kind of calibration is required? Help me please!

what are the capture and dither settings on the burl? if we choose not to use a digital limiter afterwards in our DAW, do we still have to dither, or does the burl handle 16 bit dithering and 44.1kHz for us? thanks much

C for me, most natural overall, smooth solid punchy, maybe a bit dark compared to the others, but no thin grittyness like A which I disliked for that reason. B was second pretty good but not as good as C. Then D was just meh, didnt seem to relate to the others

Hey! Just wanna say I tried out the trial tokens today and did the Fairchild 670 model on a mastering project for a client. I’ve used a lot of Vari mu emulations in plugins, but never ever ever did I think I could get such an amazing sound out of a compressor! Analog really is magical to the feel and overall experience. All this to say, thank you! For giving us engineers who have the experience but maybe not the cash to access some of these units
