Very effective videos, thank you. One question I had - in the Super-Twisting algorithm in the first slide, the right hand side is not differentiable with respect to the state (s,nu). So the theorems we have learned in elementary differential equations courses for existence and uniqueness don't apply. How do we reconcile this? In fact, this question applies to the Twisting algorithm and even conventional sliding mode algorithm. Thank you.

for part (d) in the last question, the answer is wrong you should multiply vo/vi by Av_NL it should be equal to Av2 in part (a)
My iitr friend recommend about your lecture and said it is very interesting. But I don't think anything he said is right

At time 30:51 , there's a correction , z1= [-1 1]' but you drew z1 as [1 -1]'

You are right. But I hope the discussion follows through and the points to be highlighted had come across.

sir there is a mistake in the RLC ciruit state space equation. In calculation we forgot to take the derivative of input. This type of circuit shown in video will come when we take voltage across capacitor(Vc) as our state x1.
@SohomCResearch4 жыл бұрын
There is no mistake in the SPR. The state x1 is in fact taken as integration of the current (same as voltage across capacitor with C=1). However there is a mistake in the transfer function of the RLC circuit because in the I(s)/U(s) the 's' is missing in the numerator. Please note that and correct.

Sir for the 3rd question I am getting RD as 1 how it is 2? and for the 1st question I am getting RD as 1

Q3. If you take first derivative of y, then first derivative of x1 comes, which does not contain the control input (see system eqns). In second derivative, double derivative of x1 would come which would contain the control input.
@SohomCResearch4 жыл бұрын
Q1. y=x1 in chain of integrators. The control input is in xN dot. To reach from x1 to xN dot there requires to be N number of derivatives to be taken.
@rudraprakash93924 жыл бұрын
sir, I got these answers 1. RD is 1 2. i- For RD 1, c2 should not equal to zero and c1 can be any real number ii- For RD 2, c1 should not equal to zero and c2=0. 3. RD is 2
@SohomCResearch4 жыл бұрын
answers to 2 and 3 are correct. answer to Q1 is n.
