Nice DIY secondary ignition probe 👍 How many volts is the signal inducted in the wire? Did you connected both ends of the wire to the scope probe? Did you tried to zoom the signal to see if it's visibile the spark firing line?

Lucky you opted for the Rigol with the anti-asphalt, protective, Kevlar weave backing. Otherwise you might have jacked up the back of your scope on that gnarly driveway.

some guys might ask - What sort of bike is that ? - Others might ask what sort of cable did you use from the scope ? - and others might ask what sort of scope is that ? ME.... I WOULD BE ASKING ..... *DID YOU GET THE UPGRADED FIRMWARE TO UNLOCK THE 300MHz BANDWIDTH AND ALL THE OTHER OPTIONS* HEHE Nice Scope mate, i also have a DS200A (yes, Upgraded)

Yes I do, the amp has low/high/all switch for each channel.

Yep I do :). I split the stereo from the source. Each of the sides (right & left) goes to two channels, one with a high pass and one with a medium pass. Amplified signals go to right and left tweeters and mids. Than I also combine the two channels and and put them together in a fifth channe with a low pass, this channel than goes to the sub. I sill have a sixth channal left and want to combine the fifth and the sixth to double the power output to the sub. That would require a 180° phase shifter. But I haven't done that yet.

MethewsEmbeddedSystems thanks for the info. I want to build a 12v system too so your advice is very useful. I'm also looking at maybe using an active crossover before amplification to split high/low then send to two amps. looking for high efficiency. I want to test without spending too much dosh. Thanks again.
