These bike cleaners and bike oils cat the eye and wallet so many people get fooled into buying these expensive cycle cleaners and lubes. Great vid by the way😊

So I received the same bag tonight. Same as in this video. Man this is nice. Mine comes with everything in this video plus mine has a padded rear triangle bag that straps on. Even more protection for the rear. I do plan on removing my rear derailleur from the hanger. And packing it between the rear triangle. I will also remove the rotors so as not to worry about them getting bent. I wish the bottom bracket foam block ran the length of the swing arm for even more support and protection. Oh well. But yea I think this will do just fine.

I have both of these. I drive a day cab semi and I use them once or twice every day, to heat up coffee or lunch. I've used it for 3 years now and I am just now starting to have issues with the igniter not wanting to work. I put the adapter on it so I can use the big green Coleman cans so I can get some height out of it as well.

I recently bought one of these and it failed to fit a tight Bontrager XR3i MTB tyre when metal levers - used carefully - did the job.
@kamilk680724 күн бұрын
i think the point is to not use metal. that's why people try and well break plastic levers vs destroying the rim

I’ve found these are best for road bike or gravel bike tires. They do’t work as well or as easily on wider rims.

That's a great video. I ordered Xenyx 502s and I already have few cables. The plan how I want to connect this to make a Karaoke is below: TV with Spotify (SPDIF Output) -> (SPDIF Input) Sound Extractor (RCA Output) -> (1/4 inch JACK Input) Xenyx 502s Wireless microphone station for 2 microphones (1/4 inch JACK output) -> (1/4 inch JACK Input for MIC line) Xenys 502s Xenyx 502s (1/4inch JACK output MAIN) -> (RCA Input Line 1) Yamaha R-N803D Amplifier. I'm already using that Sound extractor so I'm sure it's gotta work.

On Greenspeed recumbent trikes the drive side is counter-clockwise to tighten? BSA bottom bracket, Was trying to remove the drive side and my friends said counter-clockwise to remove it, but it did not go anywhere. Looked like the arrow from underneath was pointing left, denoting the opposite direction. Hmm. Thanks, I hope.

@@JamesMiller_ShadowWalker yes, on a BSA BB the drive side is always reverse thread, so remove it clockwise.

I'm going between the ZEP brand degreasers both the Citrus and the FAST 505. NOT AURE YET but think maybe the Citrus version might be strongest for dirty chains.....
@TonyHobАй бұрын
@@jackmacdonald7636 I really like the Zep products
@jackmacdonald7636Ай бұрын
Looks like the ZEP FAST 505 is safer or less likely to pit metal or ruin finishes, while the Citrus version can damage nickel finishes. But many chains are without nickel plating, so for those chains, the citrus might be great so long as no soaking. Keep in mind, their Citrus will erode the clear paint finish on Modern Shimano components! So never let Shimano CRanks, derailleurs or shifters soak in the Citrus. Is most cases, no need to soak anyhow. Use the FAST 505 for components over the Citrus. And use dry degreasers for STI shifters! FLASH RUSTING will occur from cleaning with water based and rinsing STI Indexing!

I found a very simple method to stiffen the mounting bolt on old SRAM XO and X9 rear derailleurs. (The bolt set up is the same). Simply add an o-ring between the B-plate and the bike drop-out before installing the derailleur. This pushes the B plate towards the wave washer, compressing it more and making the joint there stiffer. It worked wonders on my mountain bike! For the X0 X9 application: O-Ring size: -014: 1/2"ID x 5/8OD x 1/16CD

Hi Tony, when u went from 100mm travel to 130mm travel, does it not change the axle to crown and hence geometry? I am thinking of upgrading my 100mm coil fork with air fork and the fork manufacturers are suggesting to stay with 100mm because the fork height increases for 120mm. What was your experience? Thanks
@TonyHob2 ай бұрын
Depends on your bike’s head tube angle. Most bikes, including mine, will be fine with the 30mm difference. I wouldn’t go any bigger though. You should be fine going from 100 to 120mm unless your bike has a really steep head angle (usually seen on older bikes)
