Hi Tony, when u went from 100mm travel to 130mm travel, does it not change the axle to crown and hence geometry? I am thinking of upgrading my 100mm coil fork with air fork and the fork manufacturers are suggesting to stay with 100mm because the fork height increases for 120mm. What was your experience? Thanks
@TonyHob22 сағат бұрын
Depends on your bike’s head tube angle. Most bikes, including mine, will be fine with the 30mm difference. I wouldn’t go any bigger though. You should be fine going from 100 to 120mm unless your bike has a really steep head angle (usually seen on older bikes)

I have this hub on a 2015 Diamondback Trace. I contacted Diamondback and they said it's a Novatec 342DSE hub but I can't find any information online. Currently trying to find a 35mm freehub driver as a replacement for the pre-installed 30mm freehub driver in order to install a 10 speed MTB-style cassette which is supposed to replace the stock 7-speed cassette. It may not be possible though. Anyone has any experience?

Hello sir I just want to to use reverb so Can I just do one out from mixer to effect and return one out from the effects back to mixer
@bikersoncall3 күн бұрын
Use two reg guitar cables. One cable from this mixer fx send to your reverb units 'in' jack. Other cable from your reverb unit 'out' jack to the L of the return side of mixer that is labeled 'stereo aux return' . If you have a stereo rev unit set up , and want the stereo option, then you need to use two single mono 'split cords' where one end of each cable has one 1/4 mono end and the other end is two 1/4 mono ends. But even if you have a stereo rev unit and just single end cables, then the first method I described would be the way to go.

Thanks so much Tony as this is very informative. I have a question though. I have this old analog Pyramid PS2750 Stereo Mixer and wants to use this to connect my Magic Sing karaoke machine into the Yamaha Home Theatre system/receiver. Of course he mixer is analog but the karaoke machine and receiver are digital; but noticed that the receiver has also multiple RCA ports, which I guess can be used. And so, how would I do that? I have even tested connecting the karaoke’s HDMI output into the 5 receiver’s RCA ports, one at a time, but all failed. It didn’t work and showed that HDMI to RCA connection wouldn’t work. However using the HDMI cable with both HDMIs on each end, actually worked right on the bat. Thus, I would need your expertise and advise on this and would deeply, deeply appreciate it. Thank you.

do you recommend buying a sony head unit ?
@TonyHob14 күн бұрын
I’ve had Pioneer and JVC head units in the past but have bought these cheap Atotos lately. Can’t beat them for Car Play at this price. Sound quality is good but nothing special. If you want great sound quality, then Sony or the other brands are better

Before you say, "no rust," look underneath the bed liner. I owned 2 of these (91 + 93) and own 3 now(86, 94, 96). You also have power mirrors. MY 1994 had 43k miles and today has 49k miles but sat outside its entire life... the paint is terrible on roof, hood and fender top edges. Good luck.

Putting the burner on top of a fuel canister adds extra height and therefore instability for whatever pot or pan you put on it. $18 (just $3 more) will get a propane stove not much bigger that sits on a flat surface, hooks a propane tank up with a hose and has longer more stable pot holders. Spending $23 will get this type of stove that boils water in half the time. $32 will get this type of stove that boils water in one third the time. When a propane stoves main function is to boil water the BTU rating matters.

I put your SN to fox website and compare to the official service instruction. I noticed the differences: 1). Fox manual use only 20wt oil while you use 5wt oil on damper side. 2). Fox manual add 3cc of 20wt oil to top air chamber. Is this something you missed?

all the comments prove that this is a confusing piece of gear. i dont understand several aspects of the routing... mostly WHY? you cant play all the outputs and the PFL at the same time. sometimes i need to do this. and for that , i am sad i may have to get another mixer. as it does not seem possible. running the fx send outs into an additional amp seems the best option for that problem... but the control room out not having its own control knob , and the pfl being determined by the solo buttons and the routing of the usb... argh its really way too tangled up to think that this made it thru some R&D without someone saying hey what about an additional knob or two and boom problems solved. grumble. good luck.
