I lost my father almost 40 years ago, when I was only 13. This one still hits sooo hard. Your tears show the love you had for your father and I’m sorry for your loss. Never be ashamed for your feelings.

My dad died a year ago from covid as well. I still wear a mask because of it and I had a worker once jokingly be like “Haha oh is covid back or something” I was like my dad literally just died from it. It didn’t go away. I was so pissed.

This song was released in 1989 - and filmed down in Battle Abbey. Tony Iommi by this point in Sabbath's history was the only original member in the band, with Tony Martin the vocalist (he joined in 1987 as a last minute replacement to record The Eternal Idol album and would have two stints in Black Sabbath 1987-1990 and again from 1993-97), Laurence Cottle on bass (he is normally a jazz bassist, who was a session man for the album. The tour would feature Neil Murray on bass). Also featured are Geoff Nicholls on keyboards (though he isn't in the video, he'd been in Sabbath since 1979 until 2004), and on drums was legendary drummer Cozy Powell.

You could always move away from the US - to Denmark or another nordic country. We have free helthcare - pay via taxes - and is peaceful - the police do not carry guns - why should they - and of cause our loved ones care about us - but it is not necessary to talk about it all the time - and it is so in Sweden as well - we are not so different from another. You are wellcome - without weapons - they are not necessary- none of us carry one. And that was just the beginning of the differences - -

Even if you needed to apologize, it couldn't be avoided. This song makes a lot of people cry, myself included. As soon as you said that your dad had just passed a couple years ago, I knew it was going to be bad. It's good in a way too though. For one, I feel like you needed that cry. For two, it lets viewers know the type of reactor you are. You definitely don't research, your reactions are raw and real. It also takes courage to post something like this. I feel like it's pretty obvious that you didn't want to, but you did. Reenforcing the realness and rawness of your reactions. Anyway, I'm rambling because I'm higher than James Blunt's vocal register, but I subscribed.

thank you for sharing your honest feelings with us... you are a brave young man. The pain of losing a parent may never really fade, but we do learn to handle the pain as time goes by. Songs like this just remind us of it. look at it as a way to honor the memories.

Yes, I already mentioned that Su was a fan and Moa asked Joakim for examples like folk dances, and when she got the Video, she knew we have to do something like that. But Inever saw this line From Oh Majinai to Pa Pa Ya and now Ratatata.
@ksbrst201013 күн бұрын
In fact it makes sense. Su mentioned to Electric Callboy that they wanted to dance with their Audience. But the Song got a bit bigger. "Ratatata".
@ksbrst201013 күн бұрын
For a long time it was a well hated song by Joakim and the Fans. But Joakim realized later that the people probably knew less about the mix than even he did. And we know Moa can be a Vulcan. We now see it in her on stage Jokes and at that time it was the totally new dance idea, that later LED to Da Da Dance, Night night Burn, Shanti, Shanti and so on. Yes he had an on Stage appearance with them. You have to understand, Su is a Fan. This was one of the reasons why they invited Babymetal as their second Opener for their Europe Tour in 2023. So they xarried the risk for a reoccurence of Covid and gave them a cheap opportunity for location scouting in Europe for their own Headliner Tour. But they quite often played this video. Hmm, they more or less did the same with Pa Pa Ya and now they have dropped his live scenes. Doesvit have contractual reasons?

Since you like this you should also check some of their other Italian songs but look for the versions with English subtitles: Torna a Casa (Come back home), Vent'anni (20 years old) - these 2 are ballads, or La Paura del Buio (Fear of the Dark) o Morirò da Re (I'll Die Like a King) - these 2 are more upbeat.

Babymetal have been around since 2010 when Su, Moa and Yui were 11 and 12 years old. This is more their fun playful side. Babymetal is very diverse, which you will discover if you choose to get in the foxhole. I will suggest Megitsune, perhaps a double feature MV and live from PIA Arena 2023.
