I have a metal plate holding my right wrist together and holding paint brushes for long periods of time gives me really bad cramps, so this could be a game changer since I make my money through drawing with alcohol markers (still can't find a way to record my processes and upload to youtube without dropping a f**k ton of cash, so if you got any advice on that I'd appreciate it lol)

Me and a Friend tried WH40K and we had the very same issues IN our experience it is not about casual but that the rules are just so badly written. There are tons of rules and keywords people "just need to know" to understand the game On top of that they change constantly We went over to One Page Rules and man it is so much better!

I do feel like you have to at least KINDA sorta care about the rules enough to at least understand the tactics of your army and SOME of the special rules and stuff that makes your army effective. If you dont care about that stuff that much, then at least know that dark eldar are not a easy going simple army to play effectively. And thats fine, it may just not be for you. But i think you would enjoy the gameplay aspect more with a different army, however if you truly dont like the other armies and only want to play dark eldar, then again perhaps playing the actual game isnt for you. But thats sorta part of why warhammer is so amazing as a hobby, because there are easilly equal numbers of hobbiest who play the game compared to hobbiest who dont play the game. Many people enjoy the mini building and painting, dont play and dont care for the lore. Mamy people dont paint and just play the game. Some people are lore nerds and read the books and dont play tabletop at all. Some people play the video games. All those options are the correct way to interact with the hobby

As someone that currently runs a (very) small business making 3D printed resin items, this type of factory tour is both fascinating and has many moments of "yep, been there, done that, doing it tomorrow". If i had the space for it, i would consider moving into the world of epoxy resin casting to improve throughput and cut down on the IPA waste. Thank you for these videos, and keep them up!

Good explanations! I'm a retired chemist. The CA chemistry you present seems to imply that, when say, sodium bicarbonate is used with CA, the proportions used may be important, since the bicarbonate is both a filler and an initator. Too much initiator can presumably start too many individual polymer chains, thereby consuming more monomer at lower average chain length, resulting in reduced average final polymer chain length (molecular weight), which might impact properties such as strength, softening point, or impact resistance. This may also apply of course to ANY initiator - use too much, and cured adhesive properties are affected.

I'm actually surprised at how long it's taken for a company to make a product like this aimed at this side of the community! I see model paint markers a lot for the Gundam community, and when I myself first got into mini painting, having already been a illustrator for some time, I experimented with a lot of the mediums I was used to -- including Copic (alcohol) markers. FWIW, Copics turned out some interesting results. It helps to be familiar with the way alcohol markers behave to get the best experience, but the Sketch variety having a soft brush tip like these ones and their added blendability made for interesting experiments!

Thank you for this video, Brent. I didn't think it was simple to create miniatures, but I had no idea just how much work was involved until seeing the Trenchworx team giving their blood, sweat, and tears to make us happy. It also makes it easier to understand why these things cost what they do on the consumer end.

Kickstared those same brushes, gotta say i agree with your statement, they are fine but lack on the detail side. I use them (and the sable from the same company) for various basic jobs, layering and such but I fall back to my Redgrass for details.
