This is how I built my business a few years ago when I moved over to video from photography, I gave away one film but I gained hundreds of leads. There was one winner and I offered all of the others a discount for entering the competition, I filled my diary for the first year. A little tip though, send them to a page on your website to enter the wedding date and contact details etc otherwise your competitors can steal them. The winner of my competition added an optional extra so I even got paid enough to cover my costs for the free one!

My business partner dealt with all the licensing stuff, and I'm now currently setting it all up, hopefully be ready soon. So it's always good to learn new styles and ways of filming and editing so very greatful of people like yourself.

I'd love to try and incorporate something similar for their opening as I have a mad dancefloor and haka and all sorts. Would you be cross if I stole your AMAZING idea of the heartbeat with the groom waiting? It might not work, but I love it SO much and would love to give a try for this couple! (The groom even spoke his vows without the mic so only his bride (and my RODE mic hehe) could hear him! So it would be perfect!!) If it works out, I'll give you a nod/@ when I post it!
