Great Video and loved seeing the BTS to match up. Few things. Do you ever use a gimbal. I use it for every shot you have done handheld. I could probably get lots more shots if I went handheld. Recently upgraded to A7IV with Tamron so that should be ok hand held. Does your package just include 5 minute highlights like that or do you also offer full video and or full ceremony/speeches.

Hi Adam, love your work, hoping to start a part time wedding filmmaking buisness over the next year (im based in Northern Ireland) and will likely sign up for your course....ive been binge watching loads of your content recently, i love your style and approach.......a technical question and maybe something you could do a video on to explain, how do you shoot 16:9 and frame/compose the shot to allow for cinema bars to be added in the edit......id hate to shoot something estimating where i think the bars would be and just miss a crucial detail that could get cut off.

Thanks so much Darren, that’s great to hear! All the best with it. To answer your question, my Sony cameras have markers on them to show where the bars would be. This helps when composing but you can always adjust the frame up and down in post production also. Your other option is shooting with anamorphic lens’ for a true 2.35:1 ratio but this is overkill imo.
