Blanking is part of fishing. Otherwise it'd be called 'catching' ;)

Nice video mate. I haven't fished there in a year either, keep meaning to give it a go, I used to end up by the tourist info board usually. Have you had anything on lures recently? I haven't got much confidence this time of year with even my most productive lures.
@Fishingdorsetlive17 сағат бұрын
Been trying the lures mate but the bass are heads down arse up feeding on crabs,I still keep trying thiu and out in boat Tommorow in the harbour giving bait and lures a go
@SandrasSpicySpanishSalami17 сағат бұрын
@Fishingdorsetlive Nice. I had luck this time last year with medium sized hardback crabs cut in half and doused in peeler oil. Might be worth a go.

Love watching your vids. Blank or no Blank. Like the tips on rigs etc. I know that area where/how much to park? Do you hump all your gear over?
@FishingdorsetliveКүн бұрын
Appreciate that,I do my best at all times blank or no blank it’s all fun,you don’t pay to park there but it’s very dodgy coming off a duel carriageway to get up verge ,you can park opposite side and walk over very carefully,many thanks for watching 👊👍

Hi Shane, I have been watching your videos for quite some time now. I have two questions for you. Where do you park your van? Holes Bay Road is busy all the time. And second, as you are in Holes Bay, are the Bass edible? If I recall, you said that you don't really eat fish. Why am I asking these questions? I live about five miles from Poole.
@FishingdorsetliveКүн бұрын
Parking on holes bay is a dodgy game and I’m not saying how I did it ,I’m taking no blame for someone else’s accident ,you can park on the industrial estate behind which is saver,yes the bass are edible I don’t take much home back home because over the years I have eaten so much I’m sick of it 🤣,I only take now and again to eat some ,many thanks for watching 👊👍

Still no reviews out there on this rod, I have my pair now, feeling like I grabbed a classic as it seems no one else has one but us lol.... I love mine, they are light, really fast recovery, easy to cast and actually help you cast better, you can run through the gears in power giving it more in each cast and they love 6oz and bait, they cast further on my average stroke than my blades with alot more ease, the 13'11s are easily as as powerful in the tip as the blades, no problem handling mixed ground or strong solent tides. 😊
@Fishingdorsetlive4 күн бұрын
There are plenty out there getting used trust me ,I need to get out more with mine but fishing at the moment sucks ,from the time I’ve used them I bought a second one now so have a pair for the beach,stonking rods 💯
@zefe38862 күн бұрын
Hey there at the moment, which would you prefer if you pendulum cast ? The Zoominator 13'10 or the fireblades 14' ? And would you say the zoominator a J-curve or C-curve action ?
@Fishingdorsetlive2 күн бұрын
@zefe3886 I can’t pendulum cast and woudnt bother even trying lol ,never tried a fire blade but did have a j curve ,to be perfectly honest the zoominator is well on par with them all and a lot less money as well,it’s a powerfull mid section and you can give it some welly ,hope this helps u
@mrpharcyde112 күн бұрын
@@zefe3886 definitely the zoomers for an easier feeling pendulum cast, my pendulum isn't the greatest, but zoomers definitely taught me quicker than my blades, yet side by side the blades and zoomers are no real difference in stiffness of top section, jus the zoomers are a lot lighter through the cast, more responsive in rod feedback ... I'd say more J curve even though they have that continental full curve feel about them, equal in power, but I can put my zoomers lead further atm... Centurys are a learning curve, zoomers are fun and make you smile every cast.
@Fishingdorsetlive2 күн бұрын
@mrpharcyde11 that’s a nice little review there,glad you like them same as I do. Wish I could pendulum but I can’t and tried
