I've dug bait there where you are,, in the main bay to your left for lug and to you right.. right up to the sewer outlet pipe for rag worm.. started fishing that location with my dad back in the 60's.. it kind of stopped fishing from that wall.. when the sailing club there .. errected railings for their members to store therir boats there.. and basically closed that area off to the public.. I have probably fished behind that wall.. hundreds of times.. on evening sessions we could creep around the gate on that pier and fish from the end of it lol

I used to dig bait there as well,they shut that car park off in summer which is totally wrong as it’s a council owned car park which we all pay for ,but hey ho money talks and free memberships do as well to that club ,thanks for watching 👊👍

It's so sad that all this effort doesn't produce a single Flounder, it wasn't that long ago ( in the harbour) that you were almost guaranteed at least a couple of decent (1 1/2 - 2lb) Flounders and a few smaller ones..
