Outlaw King is the most authentic of the films listed here in terms of its equipment! All the others have medium to large weaknesses in this area. The stories are also very constructed and optimized for the audience. Often so much so that I feel sick as a historian 🤢😁

I never thought a series about oilmen would interest me, but Landman is great! The Day of the Jackal is fantastic! Three series on Apple (2 are new) that I love are Shrinking, Before, and Disclaimer. I have tried to watch the Dune series but I just can't get into it. Maybe my mind wasn't in the right place. Will try it one more time (One thing that bothers me about it is it's set 10,000 years before Paul Atreides yet the technology is the same?? I know that they don't want "smart" machines, but 10,000 years - you'd think humans would have advanced a little) (or maybe 10,000 years of nothing but descendants of MAGA - that could be why no advancement LOL)

I have seen all of them but All Quiet on The Western Front. I hated The King. The Last Kingdom is a great choice for number 1. That being said, the lead for Utred, while doing a great job was way too short. If you read the books, Utred was a head taller than most men. Considering what a great series this was, I suppose in retrospect size doesn't matter.

Thanks for having Warcraft here. I had always loved the game and was so impressed with the movie. Unfortunately, it dodnt do well at the box office. If it had, we probably would've had a sequel by now.😢

People can say what they want about marco polo but the kung fu was NEXT LEVEL. Jia Sidao vs hundred eyes is one of the best fights ive ever seen and its worth a watch just for that alone

House of Ninjas is hard to watch at times. Very slow paced. And characters that are hard to get to like or hate because of their silent /keep to themselves nature.

For anyone who likes these types of movies and shows, Fauda is the best one on this list by far. All four seasons of Fauda are amazingly well done. In the very beginning, I wasn’t a huge fan of the subtitles … but the series is so good, I stopped even noticing the subtitles after just a few episodes. Check it out!
