Harpo loved children and even though he and his wife were not able to conceive they adopted 4 children and gave them a warm, loving home. The rapport he shows with the children in this scene is genuine and I’m sure that the children could feel it. God bless him always.

My great grandmother, Elsa Mabel Carrow (Schiewe) was the soprano opera lipsinger for Margaret Dumont. I dont see her name in the soundtrack credits but I see a lot of "Kitty Carlisle." I wonder if that was her penname for this production? My grandpa (her son) just passed away at 91 and I found all of these published song books with her name on them. She was apparently a remarkable lady. Sang soprano and later worked for the Mayor of Los Angeles!

Aunque los Simpson hicieron la parodia de esto, esta película tiene mucho significado y tampoco es que sea un drama al 100%. Estamos hablando de cómo juegan con la introspectiva de un modo espectacular. En mi opinión, se trata de como el ser humano nos acomodamos con facilidad con tal de conseguir nuestro objetivo, y de cómo la mayoría absoluta "la sociedad" pretende establecer "unas reglas" y como de repente esta película hace un giro de los acontecimientos inesperado. Yo me reía hasta que... Se generaba la tensión. No muchas películas hacen esto, entonces el final da mucho que pensar. Para mí es... Bff no hay palabras, es una joyita del cine ❤️❤️

Yo no tengo hijos, soy un hombre adulto con muy malgenio y no quiero que una esposa o hijos tengan que vivir y soportar al padre que yo tuve...no seria justo para ellos y esta escena de esta maravillosa película....solo me lleva al amor y lo lindo que sería para mí poder vivirlo tratando a los que me rodean con amor, cariño y lealtad y no con la maldita crianza de mi padre....
