my first roblox game was the classic roblox titanic back in around 2010 or 2011. the devs have an updated titanic these days which looks amazing and is really impressive imo

Man my little brother still plays loads of Flood Escape 2, when I went over to my dad's place in 2021 when I was 19 I saw my little brother there, 12 years old playing Flood Escape 2 on his iPad. Now he has a whole gaming pc and setup ever since I left and I wonder if he still plays that.

Meep City these days might actually be updating their game, but only in small bits. Not anything dramatically different in gameplay, but have been putting stuff on there like "new avatar editor", and "voice chat". The things you buy in stores are never new, and it seems they've only been repeating the same stuff every year. After a few years, they decided to bring back the special Trick or Treating update. New people to that game might have been excited to see all that stuff and things they got, but for old players, let's just say the only new things that I got are the ugc items and trophies.

There was this one game I remember, Legends. Short premise is that it was a multiplayer Roblox game with similar mechanics of a hero shooter but instead it’s in medieval ages with magic. I played a lot of the game back then and then it fell into obscurity. Another game is a horror one, it’s a first person game where you go into a facility to shut down a power generator to eliminate two digital anomalies. I forgot the name of it but the enemies were a red guy who attacks if you get close and a blue guy who attacks if you don’t hide when the timer runs out

Even though this game is only 7 years ago, I remember playing Battle as a Giant Boss a lot! It was really fun and quirky and I met my friend on there that I've known for 5 years now. We still chat and have fun today but I will still remember these old games and vibes.

Two games that give me peak nostalgia: Bee Swarm Simulator (aka best simulator in Roblox) something that I’ll never forget, and I still find my self coming back to this game every week. Also, with a good developer (with not the best schedule I admit) bee swarm simulator is an amazing game with an amazing atmosphere and community. Also beesmas always slaps Tpt2: such a good game with a good developer who cares about their game, getting constant updates which actually make the game better gives me immense nostalgia of when I would play this game hours on end.

i heavily disagree on your take with speedrun 4, while the game for the most part is mostly playable. the new event supposedly uses ai which is incredibly disrespectful and fits poorly within the style of the game, the dev has also tried to simulatorify the game for years which i heavily disagree with. the best expirence for speedrun 4 will always be recreations and likely will as the devs take more liberty and ruin the beloved game to turn it into some running simulator.

Something about the simplicity of old roblox games like prison life or MM or even Work At a Pizza Place feels so refreshing and fun compared to the higher quality games we have now. It has a nostalgic sense to it that you can find fun and entertaining for a game thats as old as roblox itself, a game without grinding, a game without toxicity. Just a fun strategic game

Work At A Pizza Place has the worst Community of Voice Chat users. Europeans are the worst ever, you will see a lot of European players just not being the right person to talk to, because they will just use you in-game for them to be on the Weekly leader boards or all-time learder boards.
