@@maudthemoth It was my first time there after a friend asked if I'd like to come along; I sure didn't regret it, though we only had tickets for one day. Very friendly atmosphere and I enjoyed the musical variety. Coming from some of the more extreme metal at the other stages made your quite intimate performance stand out even more. I'll keep my eyes open for upcoming shows in the area - anything from Hanover to Cologne usually works pretty well. Looking forward to listening to your new music!

@@dvcs2 my looped pianos are from a vst, but I place the looper after the instrument (routing-wise) because super8 can only take audio. Having said that if you record a session using super 8 and record all the midi instructions in the looping channel (record, play ovdb etc) and later decide to change the instrument vst, the render of the looping track will also be updated with the new instrument :) Hope this helps!

nice video! I love super8 and I'm having a blast discovering everything that one can do with it. I would love to see a video that more precisely shows how you use super8 with your controllers and instruments! I had an idea om making a project similar to maudthemoth, mainly using my own vocals and piano. Btw! Wonderful music!

Reminding me of old Dead Can Dance from the 80s with this, very nice. I have mostly just used my REAPER for a VST host and a recording tool, I'm going to have to try this.

There's one thing I haven't figured out yet: Super8 stops playing back/monitoring my other tracks as soon as I select the ones I'm recording to. Do you have a quick solution for that? :)

I had the same problem, so what I did was I created new tracks underneath that, and I called those monitor tracks, and I sent from Super 8 to those tracks and it works.
