If it weren't for the loose controls, this game would actually be better than CTR. The tracks are very colorful and look nice, the the super gadgets are fun, the karts design is unique.

Honestly I was kind of afraid you’d give it a low score. But 5/10 Ain’t too bad. Personally I’d Give it a 6.5/10 In my opinion the controls of this game feel great once you finally get used to it after a while. I find the mechanic of Collecting speed tokens to be unique and a lot more fun to memorize and Learn . Compare to CTR’s Drift Boost mechanics which are fun but frustrating when you’re going after time trials. I will agree with you on one thing though. While I like This Kart a Racer a whole lot and consider it one of my personal favorites, Along with CTR being in 2ND place even though it is the Superior game . The main problem with Speed Freaks is that it Really Lacks Content like a proper story mode (Like Diddy kong Racing and CTR) and even a Battle mode which Mario kart 64 Has. And Variety in track Design and music. As for the Artstyle and visuals I personally like it a whole lot, it holds up very well in my opinion. I don’t mind the characters being Limbless it adds to the charm making it stand out. I’m hoping someday We get a Remake. Even though I feel like wouldn’t happen because it probably got overshadowed by Crash Team Racing and other Iconic Kart Racers Like Mario kart 64 and Diddy Kong Racing.

Despite some character imbalance due to the flying characters being immune to ground hazards, the game is really nice albeit really short as well. And, as absurd as it sounds, the physics of this game is way more complex than that of Chocobo GP.

I have such fond memories of this game from my childhood. I got a copy of it just over a year ago while sitting on the couch recovering from a motorcycle accident. This is one game I'd absolutely love to see a remake of.

Im surprised that this kart racer doesn't has a time attack mode and the soundtrack is actually ok I dig the music hear.

I'm sure the title screen was just laziness on the developers' behalf, but to me it signals there's a huge difference in tone from the first two...Wise cracking lines aside. It proves to me that there was some influence from Pac-Man Adventures, which is what we were supposed to get and was going to be a bit more mature. If there's one place from this game I find most memorable (as well as some of its backing tracks,) it's the Spectral Realm. But of course that had to be the area that gets yeeted in-plot... While Ghostly Adventures on the 3DS was presumably basic due to being a handheld port, I found its sequel more competend than expected.

If they are gonna bring back Titans or a similar game, it needs to be labeled as a spin off, so that fans don't get upset or confused. For example, the Mario RPG's are not part of the mainline Mario platformers. If they can do that, thrn I think fans won't have a problem. But the odds of that happening are slim since the Crash community is very divided.

Also to add some context to GH Van Halen: so GH VH started out as Guitar Hero Stadium Rock FEATURING Van Halen and they decided to scrap the Stadium Rock part and just make it a Van Halen game. Also the Guest Acts were chosen from Wolfgang Van Halen's (Eddie Van Halen's son) iPod Playlist. So that should answer some questions there.

I know this video is old but I thought I’d say a few things. I remember playing PAC-Man world rally when I was like 8 or 9 maybe 10 and I LOOOOVVEEED it with all my heart. I remember I was heartbroken when the ps2 broke and I’d never be able to play Pac-man world rally anymore and I always wanted to get a new ps2 when I grew up buutttt..now I’m 17 and I STILL love this game to my absolute core everything about it I still love. I even listen to the soundtracks more then ever (My favorite being rolling hills) but I’ve sorta accepted the fact that I’ll never be able to Experience the game again and since ps2’s are as rare as finding the one piece. I sorta gave up on that dream of replaying and witnessing my silly little character emote as he wins first place trophy as I stare like a drooling baby. But I digress, it’s nice to see the game Get reviewed and see the gameplay again. Tbh I still sorta hold out hope that one day I’ll get a ps2 and finally get pac-man world rally again and that probably won’t ever change. But I deep down know it’ll never happen. Anyways I’m gonna stop yapping, great review I loved it and I subscribed much love ❤

My brothers and I convinced our parents to buy us a multi-tap specifically for this game and NHL '98. There was a multiplayer bug in Sled Storm that caused the game to freeze if more than one player did a 1000 point trick or higher at the same time - always happened when we played Lost Peak. Amazing times and great soundtrack to go along with them. Last time we all played together was 2015, and all of us still remember it. Also imagine liking Dragula remix the most (it's the best Dragula remix but we got sick of hearing it) and giving a 1999 PSX title a 5/10. Can we get a better hipster nostalgia reviewer in here?
