This comment doesn’t pertain to Lattimore directly but a running back that I’ve watched play and had the pleasure of volunteering at a football camp that he has recently put together. He’s the #1 RB for the Browns this year, Nick Chubb. His Soph year at UGA he got his knee folded back about 150• in the wrong direction. And Ya know I’m man enough to admit when I’m wrong, but I told my brother and all our friends that he would never set foot on a football field again and even if he did he would never get the agility and explosiveness he prior to the injury !! I guess the guy heard me challenge him bc he damn sure made me eat my words! And he came back and had arguably the best Rose Bowl performance of any Tailback In NCAA history
@williamwood73485 жыл бұрын
But I have never had more respect for any player thank Mr. Chubb, he worked his ass his whole life to get in the same backfield once occupied by Terrel Davis, Garrison Hurst, another descent running back, I think his last name was Walker or something. But hats off to Nick Chubb! He saw everything he had worked so hard for snatched from him because of an awkward tackle against Tennessee. But that man got up and went and snatched his future right back from his opponent called misfortune! That man deserves every great thing that comes to him later in life! Bravo sir on the best comeback of my generation.

How did this unstoppable man not win the Heisman? Sinful I tell you
@johnnywyskiel4 жыл бұрын
He didn't win the Heisman in 1997 because he was a dud in the 2 biggest games. Threw 2 picks and lost to Florida, and threw all of 130 yards and lost to Nebraska. Charles Woodson was scoring on defense, offense, and special teams against Penn State, Ohio State, and in the Rose Bowl.

Ah, the mystery of the pink elephant. I have the answer to why Cookeville has a big pink elephant on the side of the road. My husbands grandparents owned a children's boutique store in Cookeville. His grandfather was traveling one day and came across this huge pink elephant. He thought it would be a great way to draw attention to the store, so he bought it. Here are some fun facts about this now famous elephant. It used to sit on a trailer so it could be hooked to a Cadillac and be towed home every night because people kept messing with it. One time, the pink elephant got "loose" and rolled down the busy main road. It also rolled onto his grandparents Cadillac. After that, the pink elephant was cemented to the ground. There you go. Mystery solved!

I knew exactly what happened. So, Peyton had a press conference to decide if he was staying. The press confrence was held at the stadium next to all the classes. Well, a student (A.K.A petie wagner)(also, my teacher.) opened a window. They also turned on the TV, and watched him. When they heard, they interrupted in cheers. My teacher went to school, when he was a junior in college.
