Seen it at “Giant eagle supermarket” in Ohio next to the deli / produce area. I can’t wait to try it. I recently got some kimchi pickles that are lightly fermented . I highly recommend them located in the kimchi section in the produce department

Yeah, the glass container would work just as well, maybe better.

It works even better with loosely rolled balls of newspaper instead of coals. We used one way back in the 1950s/60s all over Canada, the USA, Zimbabwe and South Africa. The fat in the meat falls onto the burning newspaper to keep it going. Dad only used 2 or 3 layers of paper balls. Brilliant and super economical.

These are ok not bad. The flavoring of the chicken does have a weird after taste in my opinion tho. I like the regular nissin or maruchan ones better personally

My grandmother used to make olive salad, that had pickled eggplant, and sliced cherry peppers, red wine vinegar. It was delicious, goes great on a cold roast beef sandwich.

Hi Tom. The video and more info box matchup, but this comment says 1 cup of celery but it should be 2 cups. You may want to adjust that. Recipe sounds delicious and I will certainly try it. Tfs.

Thanks. I made Birria for my church last week and it went over REALLY well so this week it was requested again. I used a different product last week that I purchased online and it takes a few days to arrive. I looked up what I could use like the Tio Pelon's product and it popped up in my search. I got the last three jars at my HEB last night and will be using it today...Say a prayer.
@tomstestkitchen21 күн бұрын
You can't go wrong with Tio Pelon's, it's really good. Please let me know how it turns out for you.

@@tomstestkitchen It's a long story but this was for my church and I'll be posting my video soon. TikTok gave me the idea with EZ Bombs Birria Bombs. I bought it tried it for my church, they loved it and a last minute call, it was requested again for both Sat & Sun services with less than 24hrs f notice. I was forced to find a local source for the seasoning. I got the last three jars of Tio Pelon's at the HEB I went to plus I had one Birria Bomb left. I used a combination of the two and it was a huge success once again. I think, I'll try the birria ramen one weekend and see how it goes. Thanks for your video.👍👍

You realize I'm reviewing the jarred salsas that are available in stores. I'm not reviewing the salsas that are served in these restaurants, I have no idea what those taste like but I'm sure the jarred is different.

I'm intrested in making this. I've never had Hatch chili before. Could you give us a ballpark flavor profile? What's it kinda-like? Thanks for making this video!
@tomstestkitchen22 күн бұрын
These are technically Anaheim peppers grown in Hatch NM. The growing conditions there produce the most flavorful peppers. They are available in mild and spicy, they aren't too spicy. If you like most peppers I think you will like these.

How was it after freezing the paste? As I'm watching your video that's what I would do is take a whole can of orange concentrate and divvy it out into individual servings the way you showed. Let me know your results so I know what to expect! 👍

Back in the mid to late 70's my friends and me would go to the Belair Mall in Mobile Alabama on a regular basis and we always got an Orange Julius while there in the mall. I absolutely loved them. I may try this and see how close it comes to what I remember, but when you said Dreamsicle, I knew you had to be very close.

I just tried the Birria ramen. The broth was deep and definitely spicy but didn't taste birria-like IMO and cinnamon was the dominant flavor so didn't care for it.

Maybe try wrapping in a damp paper towel before you freeze it. May make a steam bath or just soggy bread. Just guessing.
