a game like that should run at 200 fps...it looks worse than overwatch..what s going on with games today is really a shame...nobody couldve released that 8 years ago..cause nobody could run it back then...

This is WAAAAY too much for a RACING game tutorial. The first Live Xtreme series race (tutorial race) should be limited to land vehicles ONLY, just like they did with Motorfest. 1st, the Porsche, second an off-road car and third, a pro racing car, something like that. 90% of this game's players bought the game to drive, not to fly.

It's 1300 in my country so it's a big no.

That game lost a lot of steam for me when they announced it was a roguelike. The fact that it came out early access 18? Months after I added it to my wishlist kinda put the nail in the coffin for me.

The devs themselves said they had the game running on the Steam Deck with a stable 40 fps, but a recent update right before launch messed up the performance and that they will have a hotfix coming out for it soon. They also said a hotfix addressing performance issues and adding more settings will come out by the end of the week. Idk if that includes the specific fix for the Steam Deck too, but regardless, keep an eye out for what's happening the next few days. In a week or two from now, the experience might be very different.

If you don't have Drifter though it's worth buying now because you get that game for free and it hardly ever goes on sale. So you're getting Drifter-which you can play now-and Breaker at a major discount when you factor in the price of the free game. Breaker will be optimized eventually, the fact that it's already at this level on Deck when way stronger Windows computers are also having issues is a pretty good sign to me.

Basically any action game that is current gen wont run acceptably on the steam deck. Anything that is compatible for the PS4 though will run fine.

Super helpful to have this info when considering if this one is a good fit on Steam Deck. Unfortunately the FPS is inconsistent on the Deck, but sadly that seems to be the case on PC was well, albeit seemingly not as bad.

I read on Eurogamer that the windows version is more expensive because the windows model has 32gb of ram and 1tb of ssd, or 16gb of ram and 1tb of ssd, while the steam os version has 16gb of ram and 512gb ssd.

I like it but it probably cost 4x more any other options

60hz 🤮 one of the things preventing from getting a Win 4

The 2024 GPD WIN4 is the 8840U model. Its a cracking handheld, and it'll happily run Bazzite & Windows so hopefully when genuine SteamOS lands it can dual boot. I run mine with Bazzite/Windows and BTRFS file system so I can use the same storage in Windows and Bazzite and not wasting storage with dual downloads.👌

WIldly impressive unit, but, in a world where you can handheld for far less money, I can't see the price point being competitive or reasonable to any but the handheld enthusiasts amoung us.

What a plot twist! Just last December i had written off WIN 4 as a potential purchase because i thought i might have driver n issues after installing Bazzite or Nobara on it, so i've decided to wait for CES for any new releases. and Now on the first day of CES i'm learning that Win4 is the first one to have official SteamOS support is a game changer for me. I own a 2024 gpd win 4 along with a handful of other devices like the steam deck, legion go, etc.... and in terms of a mobile handheld this has been by far the best handheld ive ever owned. Im hyped to see it getting steam support, i currently run bazzite on mine so official steam os support will be great

what if after you click download the percentage doesn't load ? it just reads 0% when i try to update to the latest version .
