you never know! progress has been slow for a while (acheron is hard and 60 makes it harder, who knew), if you start now there is a very realistic chance you make good progress quick!

@@the_sewn_cat1891 my end goal is to beat nullscapes on 60 which seems reasonable because that kind of robot gameplay is super intuitive on 60. My current hardest is worse trip so I have a bit of a ways to go, but I want to get much better in the next year

it's better now, i had hardware issues and even OBS was too resource intensive on every setting so i used some horrible screen recording software, but i can just use obs again so it's all good now lmfao

nope, it's a weird system, basically the game can like- poll for inputs once every 1/240th a second, but if you play on 60 it will poll inputs every 4 units of 1/240, making there be practically no difficulty difference between 2.1 and 2.2

game physics are locked to 240tps in 2.2

@@renzgmd that’s not how it works, that’s the *cap*, the game now has update cycles 240 times every second and you cannot imcrease that, but if you play on 60fps, then the “frames” or update cycle or input poll or whatever just increases by multiples of 4, which is practically identical in difficulty compared to 2.1 60hz
