I can’t believe I’m actually writing this right now. A part of me doubted that I would actually be able to pull through with this, but here I am. There have always been two parts of me with cognition, the part that knows I'm gonna beat it someday and the part that says I never will, and every day I had no idea which to listen to.
This entire journey, this fucking experience of a lifetime, was a lot more to me than just a level in a game. This may surprise you, but I am a lazy and unmotivated person. I can’t stick to school or diet or exercise. To me, this was proof that I can do what I set my mind to, that I’m a mentally stronger person than I thought. It made me unbelievably happy to have finally finished this beast of an achievement off.
I developed a completely depressing and unhealthy relationship with the level. Not to go into too much detail, but it was something to do when I had nothing or nobody else I felt like I could turn to. To put it simply, people left. Cognition didn't. I know how dumb that sounds, but cognition means a lot more to me than just a level in square game.

God where do I even start. The amount of motivation and support this man has given me through this all is unparalleled. I wasn’t able to beat cognition with hand cam, and I wasn’t able to react, but I was able to have Evil in the. If I could only have one of those three things, I’d choose Evil being there 10/10 times. The hundreds of hours me and Evil sat in a vc together as I played (be it either in vc or dm calls) is absolutely the reason I was able to pull through with this. His friendship means the absolute world to me. There’s a reason he’s one of, if not the most liked person in PDGD and BGDPS. He is quite probably the best friend I’ve ever had. Through everything, and not just cognition, he has been there. This entire thing wouldn’t have been even remotely possible, so really this is just as much credited to you as it is to me. Love you man.

You are arguably the two best players in PDGD and BGDPS (skill wise). The words of motivation you two gave me meant a lot, coming from you two it felt like I was actually making progress and becoming a better player. Thank you both.
PDGD:
God the support you all gave me is unbelievable, the hundreds upon hundreds of hours I vc’d with y’all gave me so much motivation to finish this off. I was glad I was able to beat it in vc with so many of you all. Thank you all!

Through all the ups and downs we had, all the hours we VC'd just playing our levels, and all the hardships you've faced, you still were able to CLEAR MAP. I've wanted to do some sort of big jump as well- however I'm always demotivated by the fact that I can only play gd for about 2.5 hours per day max, and then I gotta sit through a day of school before being able to come home and play gd again- It just kind of makes my attention span for levels shorter. But seeing things like this is very inspiring, and it makes me want to push through these mental challenges and push towards something great, even if I need to take short breaks from it occasionally. GG man.

Extremely underrated player, words cannot describe how insane this achievement is. Im currently jumping from untitled (a top 350) to oblivion, and the level is kicking my ass hard, with having a run of 68 - 100 and 49 - 63 after 25k attempts already. but after reading the description of this video, i cant relate way too much. School is too much right now, and i am a ridiculously lazy person when it comes to it, but i know im able to stay on top of things if i put my mind to it. with the right mindset, we can do anything.

Since seeing the new demonlist levels I have always wanted to jump to something, RN my hardest is ToE2 and I want to jump to something on the list or on legacy like Ddiamond, but I still don't have skill but seeing this gives me hope that I might do it, that I might actually be able to take that leap.
