As a teenager, during their explosion onto the scene, i loved their music and thought they were total anarchists, against all forms of oppression, but they were more inspired by communism than anarchy.

What's crazy is Maynard Keenan & Tom Morello were good buds before becoming famous, but I don't think they ever played in a band together?? Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Corporate socialism and lucrative "fight for a cause" was always welcome in America. Unfortunately , it boiled down to multicolored hair screamers with no identity other than their politics , cosplaying as freedom fighters, while their bosses and enablers sell weapons and fuel wars worldwide.

I'm still pissed about the protest they held in 1993 in Philadelphia during Lollapalooza. We, the fans, are the only ones who suffered. Luckily AIC made most of us forget about all the bullshit we dealt with that day.

Rage against the machine is now “Rage FOR the Machine”. They subscribe to all the left wing boot-licking, big government loving, censorship applauding, deep state worshiping bs that’s ruining our country

I was in 12th grade when Battle of Los Angeles came out. During lunch hour I literally jogged downtown to the record store from my high school to buy that cd and I jogged back to school and I wasn't even late for my first afternoon class. Still one of my top ten albums ever.

It said way too f****** often but yeah these guys were ahead of their time.... When I say it's said too often I don't mean rage although that's true kind of true as well but I'm talking about the phrase. They were so out of their time it's amazing really. Man spot on politically ideologically in every way possible they were on the right side of History making gnarly f****** music and it's just it's amazing I don't think people will forever appreciate on a large scale how big a deal these guys are and were and so on and so forth. ☮️☮️👊👊👊💯🔥🔥🔥
