@@giftadam425 Remove other one and try hammer method using pliers without rubber rings. Here’s tutorial: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pnrSi5iai7draNEsi=Tluzqz0kVLDaS7kp Or Poke spike ring popper through fabric by hand and male/female popper place in the rubber ring side and attach them that way. Hope this helps and makes sense 😊👍🏼

Like most here. I bought a set of these. But couldn't work out , how to use them. Thanks for the excellent vid. Just one question. Is there any trick to aligning them on the job at hand? All well and good with two bits of scrap. Would one just mark the spot one wants it to be? Cheers.

I haven’t tried this method on a metal buttons. But think it could work as soon as it doesn’t have metal post. On flat metal buttons it should work with metal glue. 😊👍🏼

Try adjusting stitch tension to lower number. Or loosen up bobbin tension. 😊👍🏼🌞✨

You show laking the breath holes. Why do the bags need breath holes ? What happens to the lace if you do not add the holes ?

@@Cindy-sb5dv just in case any moisture/condensation gets in the bag- it would prevent lace from mold. I don’t really zip those bags completely- so it’s just extra protection for lace. I live in uk 😊👍🏼

How did you determine the elastic length to be 35 cm? I'm just wondering if there is a system like measure your neck minus 2 cm or...i want to make some for kids as well

@@stephaniek5391 my neck measurement is 34cm I added extra 1cm for seam allowance. 0.5cm on each end of grosgrain ribbon. So when collar is finished it’s 34cm in total. Hope this is helpful. 🌞✨👍🏼😊

I have the same set but can't seem to fathom it! When I open it back up, the main part (the none spiky but) remains I the pliers! What am I doing wrong? 😢

@@TheDebz12 it sounds like white rubber rings are too tight. And it stops both poppers from being attached together. If you can- maybe stretch rubber rings. It takes a lot of practice to get it right. 😊👍🏼 Good luck 🌞✨

Thank you so much. 🌞🙏🏼❤️ Yes- I was the same- but somehow it all worked out. Make sure you leave plenty of seam allowance. It’s better to be slightly bigger at the beginning- then you can take new seams a little bit more in. 😊👍🏼

I have just seen your equally fantastic video about how to align the studs. ❤Unfortunately the cheap Temu pliers do not have a hole drilled through to enable you to see the markings. I have learned two things today 😂

Aww- sorry just seen this comment. 🙈 Ohh- no- maybe pierce ring prong popper by hand first where the marking is. And then attach both poppers with pliers- so poppers are attached on where the marking is. 😊👍🏼
